yea..i was actually planning on making a come back...
but after seing the format of the kit..i'm gonna have to rethink it...
one improvement is that they split the sock up..and that they have a long sleeve image that's actually...long..
that's great...but the whole thing is too damn small...no little details such as comprehensive mesh textures...or little coolmotion logos...or tiny seams that would usually be visible..

anyway...unless ariel or someone else redo's the format and makes at least the front and back images bigger...then ..i doubt i'll edit kits for FIFA 2004...but fede...looks like ur not having much trouble editing and making it look good...
although the mesh on the river plate jersey is a bit too much...
try using a thinner line...unless u already used the thinnest possible...and try making it more complex...u shouldn't normally be able to follow count the number of squares....
which also reminds me to tell u that although i've never seen the river plate jersey...i don't think the mesh is right.... i believe that the red and the white colors in the mesh should be reversed...i'm pretty sure that the lines are white (which comes from the outside layer) and the red squares come from the inside layer....
if that made any sense...

to sum it up...

Well, the fact is that with such a small template I really can add all the details I'd like to make in a jersey, you know... with 2GK I think I was the first guy that started to add all those details to make a kit seem real, even before Diego (dap), Hagi or JJ... -try searching for my FIFA 2003's Boca kit with the WIP method, in 2GK, and u'll see all the details I put in it.
But with such a small template it's really really hard to focus on details, because meshes (that I usually do with Patterns) are completely difficul (not to say IMPOSSIBLE) to make! -try searching for the mesh template I did, I posted it somewhere in the forum, search it and u'll see that it was perfect, just like the original Adidas one.
I think u undertsand what I mean...

So, until a bigger format comes out, I'm sorry but the Adidas meshes I'll do, are gonna be like that :) I don't do this because I'm a bad guy but because there's no other way to do it, if it's already difficult to see the details in the mesh like this, then let's figure how difficult it'd be if I make more little points in that small space....

Thanks!. To be honest with you and with the guys that like and follow my kits making-life I'm anxiously waiting for PES3. Let me get this straight... I LOVE FIFA 2004, I really like the game and gameplay, it's the first time this happens to me, I've never liked a FIFA demo, but this year I do, and I really like it, I also love the new features that the game will bring. BUT I can't deny that since the first day PS2 came out I have wanted to see a version of WE or PES ported/converted to PC. Last year, we have had the chance to test the so awaited ISS3, which in the end was crap, and full of bugs. BUT ISS is made by KCET and PES is made by KONAMI so I belive (and HOPE) that PES3 for PC won't be like ISS3, it might NOT be INCOMPATIBLE with Windows XP or any other Windows. And hopefully you won't need a SUPERB PC. I do own a nice PC but even so, ISS3 run terribly SLOW and CHOPPY.
So, if PES3 runs well in my PC, without a doubt I'll make a bunch of kits and many other things! and so will Ariel. But, I'll keep making kits for FIFA too because I like this year's game.
Ariel is very mad at FIFA 2004, I don't know why... but he doesn't like it at all, he said that if PES3 is NOT as ISS3 then he MAY move to the PES community as well.

Well... enough, hehe!

BTW Forlan, I can see your a ManU fan, I'm making a Manchester United kit at the moment, and it's coming up so nice, so wait up!

Yeah a bit because of that, a bit because this format sucks and a bit because I'm trying to edit and discover new things for PES, I love that game and as I said lots of times, when the community talked about WE/PES for PC, if PES came out for PC and it was as good as the PS2 version I'd have moved to the WE/PES community, and so did I.

Check out the attached ingame screenshot of the kit I've done for PES3, it came out just perfect and with the right mesh ;) PES3 is not only a real soccer simulation game but also a great game to edit ;)

I've said the same thing to Andy, Hans! Konami's resolutions and details for kits, faces, and small details such as teeth and tongues, is unbelivable.
The kits are actualy SUPERB even from faaaar away. Unlike FIFA :rolleyes:
