I have just got a new pc but when i try and play Fifa 2002 on it when it has justed finished loading the match the game crashes to desktop and I can't stop it

I have

windows xp home edition
256mbram
2.4ghz P4
80gb hard disc
Geoforce 4 mx 420 graphics card AGP 4x
Creative live 5.1 digital

How can I solve it

right click on c drive and check properties?
