It could have been all Iberian peninsula final 4! Porto score in 90th to tie the game, only to give up a goal in the 93rd minute. What a heartbreaker.

The play of the game had to be Redondo with that beautiful move to set up the 3rd goal. As to Keane on that own goal, I don't know what he was thinking he had to know van der Geow had it covered. And he showed his mean streak at the end(typical when Man U is losing) cutting down some guy in 86th minute.

The situation with Karanka hand-ball, it was a close call and replays were not really conclusive, but you can't blame the loss on that play. Overall, the ref had a pretty bad game, he whistled fouls on plays in the box too much, let the people play already.

Yes I watched the replay on slow-mo and it was definitely a hand ball, you could see the ball's spin change after it comes in contact with his hand. And it looked like it was going in the net too. The ref just missed it, but it was not an easy call to make.

That said you're right Real played amazing, their best game in Champions league. And this is really surprising after watching them struggle mightily vs. Saragossa 3 days earlier.

The biggest suprise is how well Casillas played, remember how bad he was vs. Bayern, in this game it was like another person playing? He really showed flashes of greatness , made at least 5 amazing saves. Another shocker- Redondo! The last time I saw him playe this well was in WC94.

Also the play I was talking about with Keane, it was a header challenge on Redondo in 86th minute. Keane was out of position as Redondo won the header, so he threw his elbow to the back of Redondo's head, knocking him down. Redondo then got up like he was gonna go after Keane but Collina stopped him with his arm. This is the kind of dirty, unnecessary play that makes you hate him.
