DBEdit is a program that allows you to edit text in the fifa.db file. Therefore, you would be able to edit player names in the demo.
Previous patch makers were only able to change names within the limits of the original names that they overwrite. However, with DBEdit, you will now be able to replace names with longer ones.
Note that it only supports the fifa.db file in the FIFA 2004 Demo, and that it must be placed in the directory .\FIFA 2004 Demo\data\cmn.
Also note that this program is a beta version and thus bugs might be present. Therefore, a backup of the fifa.db file is highly recommended.
Go to http://www.fifaecp.com to get it.
The .db format has NOT be cracked fully, so do not ask me how it is, as I don't know. All I can edit is text.
