All the Brazilian national team needs are a great right wing back, Roberto Carlos's equivalent with a right foot and two good center backs, one of which might be Zago, see him shut down Salas last week?

But lets face facts for left wings at the back or on the wing:
Roberto Carlos, Felippe, Ze Roberto, Serghino, Sivhlino, Rivaldo, Denilson, Alex etc.

Strikers:
Ronaldo, Elber, Jardel, Ronaldhino, Amoroso, Savio etc.

Defensive midfielders Emerson, Vampeta, Marcio Assuconso, Sampio etc

And on the right wing Junhino who is the best right winger after R Deboer and D Beckham.

All brazil needs is a good Right wing back and a bit more strenght in the middle and no team will come close.

Especially with Dida shutting them down in penalties constantly and their psychotic attacks down the flanks.

No way

The best striker is Batistuta
The best right wing back is Thurham
The best left wing back is Ziege
The best right wing is Zanetti
The best left wing is maybe Denilson (he has future)
The best midfielder is Veron, the man
The best defender is Stam
The best goalkeeper is anyone except burgos

Ronald De Boer can play at right-wing, but that's nat his favourite position, he is best at right-centre midfield. The Dutch national team has not got a very good right-wing so that's why he play there, and with Ajax he was right-half, not righ-winger.

Shame it could not stop them getting a savage ass whopping in the last years world cup final. It takes more than a collection of great individuals to make a classic team. It takes a mixture. Brazil are always the benchmark to measure everyone else by though.

That explains why they have to cheat and field overage players on the U-17 team. I wonder if FIFA has the balls to ban them for 2 years... and keep them out of the next World Cup.

As much as I'd miss them, they should be banned just like anyone else would.

However, it's not like the South Americans to cheat is it http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif

You mean they should be banned just like Mexico was...

It would be justice but I don't want to see it happen, losing Brasil would be a huge loss.

Instead FIFA should issue a public apology to Mexico for screwing the for the WC 90 disqualification.

I like when someone talk about something he donīt know...

Brazil do not cheat, the player cheat.
He change his age to play when he was 13 (or 12...).
The federation only discover that this year. It is a little dificult to control all the players, when you have more then 3 Milions players at the federation.

And if you think Brazil need to cheat to win this cups, well... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

There may be 2 million players byt only about 20 on your U-17 squad, yes or no?

And yes this is exactly the same situation as with Mexico because it is federations responsibility to make sure the team you field is of the right age. Of course they pass the blame now and say we knew nothing what did you expect them to say?

By the way this was serious enough situation that these players are now banned for life and the league players threatened to go on strike over this issue, right?

If you don't think that Brazil has the best national teams ever, let me remind of you of the undefeatable 1958 squad, the memorable team of 1970, the unbelievable 1994 squad. There are four stars underneath the CBF insignia on the Brazilian national jerseys. They represent the otherwise unprecedented 4 cups that Brazil has won. The Brazilian squad of today is excellent. Unparalleled offense, and excellent defense. The defense doesn't really need to do much, since they push up so offensively. This is the way that Brazilian soccer has been played for years.

Again: I like when someone talk about something he donīt know...

He was not banned for life, and there is no strike...

CBF is responsible for all players in Brazil not only the 22 at the U-17 team, so they still have to control all the 2 millions players.

And this is off-topic.

i dont think Brazil should be banned.i mean why should other players miss their chance of attending the mother of all tournaments and what could possibly be the highlight of their career just because the CBF screwed up ,and the players shouldnt be punished its not realy their fault its the people in charge they should be banned and replaced.about mexico yes it was messed up what happened to them and fifa should make up for that....
