Well this was just reported on English radio:
Someone threw a brick through a window of a Galatasaray team bus as it pulled up outside Elland road! What the heck is that?! Galatasaray will meet with UEFA officials, will they call off the game?
Will Leeds be thrown out of the cup? I put the blame on Risdale first.
Also they said they had an extra 350 officers assigned for this game is that crazy? 350? Didn't Turkey police have 10,000 show of force in Instanbul 2 weeks ago? Leeds police is reckless and incompetent.

Polish are you sure cause i just watched the whole game and didnt hear a mention of it....
and shutup and stop blaming Risdale....
what the hell has he done?????
he even put adverts papers calling for a good performance from the leeds fans and saying that the whole world will be watching tonight and for the game to be remembered for the football and nothing else...
this was reported to have cost leeds somewhere in the 6 figure mark...
now is that the sign of someone who is encouraging the violence?!?!??!?

Isn't it funny that they didn't mention it, huh?
You should have seen BBC World News yesterday, they showed very well what was happening. The reason the game start was delayed for 10 minutes(according to BBC), was disturbances outside the stadium, not that people were stuck in traffic or some other lame excuse they used.
BBC also reported: Turkish tv crew had to be escorted from outside the stadium under police protection because they were attacked, a UK tv crew was attacked with injuries, a mounted policeman was thrown from his horse and attacked, and yes they showed the Gala bus surrounded by thugs screaming and waving things, with a side window cracked up.
As to Risdale, I'm sorry the man makes racist anti-Turkey comments from day one and now expects sympathy or a pat on the back, screw him! And no, the newspaper adverts do not make up for it in my book.
Also wasn't that great security, 350 people! Oh my God what were they thinking, it's like they were begging for trouble to happen.
If Uefa sticks to precedents they set last year I think Leeds are in very dangerous position, a one year ban from Europe is very possible, for the brick-throwing incident and for their failure to control the crowds outside the stadium. And don't think I am happy about this, I don't think teams should be banned for actions of hooligans.

But wait a min Polish if those things you said are true (i still havent read about it or seen it yet) then how do you know they were Leeds supporters???
they couldve just been English hooligans as teh case was in Turkey when the Turkish hooligans killed teh English supporters....
and i think your said there was a police force of 10,000 in Turkey and you complain about there only being 350 in Leeds but obviously the 10,000 police were no where to be seen when the Leeds supporters were confronted with the armed group of Turks.....
now explain that to me????

Kewel, you cant say they are just hooligans and dont have anything to do with leeds utd.the things happened near the stadium and Leeds will be responsible for that. But in İstanbul things happened far from the stadium and it was criminal so the turkish police is responsible not galatasaray.

Kewell:
Kimiz explained it well, plus obviously Turkish police didn't expect there to be major trouble the night before the game. Once there was trouble they mobilized their forces. Now Leeds and rest of English police had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and all they could muster is 350? How sad.
Now what happend yesterday was right outside the stadium a half-hour before the game! How do you allow someone to chuck a brick at that bus?!
Also like I said I don't want teams banned for idiotic behavior of hooligans no matter where they are from, but I wish English media were a little more objective, its like their own crap don't stink, you know what I mean?

How where they soposed to know that a "Unknown" group where gonna throw bricks at the bus? They can just cuff people in a 50k area of the stadium.
Here in Uruguay Nacional & Penarol chuck rocks and batteries to the busses. And some throw them in the stadium along side botles and metal objects. When the game finishes they give the visitor team 20min to leave the area before the home team can leave, many get shot & stabed, mostly no one dies but many are left in whealchairs becouse of a bulet in the spine. The cops are there chasing the people down but it's like a war zone, what can they do?
