I just thought I'd start a thread for all you Hattrick players to discuss the game as there doesnt appear to be one suprisingly :o . I only just became accepted into a league yesterday and sadly I find my club has been relegated into the bottom division and theres nothing I can do about it in the remaining game of the season. My team is called Leyther RMI and heres the table for my division:

Team Played Goals Points
1. nicks nutters 13 64 - 14 33

2. St.Werburghs Warrio 13 65 - 11 32
3. Jams Rovers 13 59 - 22 26
4. Norfolk 'n chance 13 33 - 29 20

5. Margate A.F.C 13 22 - 57 13
6. Gods Desciples 13 15 - 46 11

7. Chuck's Champs 13 17 - 50 10
8. Leyther RMI 13 17 - 63 4

Howre all you other HT players doing?

There are Hattrick Forums about you know.

Hattrick isn't really popualar here so there isn't much use posting about it.

Lots of people dont like it.

Including me as I was kicked off it because my brother joined the game at the same IP address and they said I had a double account.

Im aware there are forums for Hattrick about just as there are forums for countless things discussed on these forums :). I am also becoming aware that Hattrick isnt very popular on these forums, perhaps many people on these forums have chosen Managerzone over Hattrick due to the exposure it gets on these forums, or perhaps many people just feel Managerzone is just better.

Sorry to say that having played both MANAGERZONE is far far better than HT. I tried HT for about 3 weeks and just couldn't get away with the game.

I'm sticking to Managerzone as there is no better game out there.

I'm a HT player through and through... my team (Jono United) is 3rd in V.14 Oceania... I've been playing it since July 2002 and are yet to win the league!!! :kader:

Oh well! Maybe this year...

Top 3 sides are tied on points in my league!

Which one is the most creative out of the two? Sorry, but I have to say Mz as I just couldn't get into HT. It was just so dull looking, poor presentation and awful structure, though that is my opinion. Mz is eye catching and has a lot more colour. The actual sim may not be as great as HT's but the all-round sense of community and the way in which the site works, totally pins down HT.

I have my new team since yesterday in HT Spain.

I don't care the colours or aspect because it's not a sim, the principal attraction of HT is the manager. The game is a manager...

In Spain is very extended and is one of the biggest leagues, there are 18000 teams and 4600 waiting :o

My team is catchers from Spain. I accept international friendly matches because the team win more experience if the friendly is international :crazyboy:

Isnt this an argument which often comes up in FIFA vs PES?

'FIFA looks better'
'FIFA is more aesthetically pleasing'

despite being a FAR inferior game!

Hattrick has over 150,000 users, So it DOES have a very good community.
The Sim is good, the game is addictive and exciting.

Soon to be Div III

Did you MOTS (Match of the Season) that game? :crazyboy:

And why are you playing with a 4-4-2? 4-4-2 in Hattrick does NOT work! 3-5-2 is widely regarded as the best!

Here are my best ever ratings...

Midfield: excellent
Right Side Defence: formidable
Central Defence: formidable
Left Side Defence: inadequate
Right Side Attack: solid
Central Attack: passable
Left Side Attack: excellent

:D

Against your...

Midfield: wretched
Right Side Defence: passable
Central Defence: inadequate
Left Side Defence: weak
Right Side Attack: inadequate
Central Attack: inadequate
Left Side Attack: inadequate

Well I had heard 3-5-2 was the formation to use but I was doing ok with a 4-4-2 so thought "if it aint broke...". Anyway I'm giving 3-5-2 a go now :). Oh yes I did set my attitude as MOTS

I play HT and MZ. I love HT way more. MZ just seems to go out of its way to be complicated. Anyway, if anyone in HT wants to play a friendly, please contact me.

I've won the first game 0-9 :o, the other team was very bad, but it's my 3rd match (H) :hump:

3-5-2 recommended. If you win the midfield, you win. At least the midfield give you much more possibilities.

To build a good midfield is almost the most important.

Good luck!! :rockman:

In HT, whats the best way to build a 3-5-2? I've been using a 5-4-1 and it seems to be good, but I would love to try a 3-5-2.

I am in USA, Florida--Orlando

I am in USA, Florida--Orlando Look this picture. This is my team. If you use the 3-5-2, put the wing backs in deffensive mode and move a center back to the midfield.

It's very useful to see the last lineup of your next rival, this way you can see what's his worse side, left or right, and put your best wing back in his best offensive side and in offensive mode a winger in the side that he is worse defending.

This site is the best for to know almost all about tactics: http://hem.passagen.se/hammervald/abc_of_tactics/abc_of_tactics_index.htm

Hi, i started playing HT about 2 months and i've already been relegated to division VI, which i don't mind, cause its given me a really good chance to get a decent team before i move up. My team number is 77408. Training defending, i have 3 solid defenders and 6 others that are a mix between passable and inadequate in which i am training, none are over 18 from memory.

But i am sitting 2nd in the league and i am 600k in debt (I just started construction on my stadium taking it from 7k to 11k in capacity which is costing 400k AU) I dont think there is much else to report at the moment except i am hoping to get money back to buy a striker as i only have 2 and one is injured for 2 weeks. So i am forced to play a 5-4-1 formation.
