i've just been messing about with some tools
afs explorer http://dte-ng.issextreme.com/scripts/ps2.php
we pic decoder 1.30 http://frutsel.terrainhost.com/frutselapp/dump/ThomasGOAL/wepicturedecoder.exe
start afs explorer and open data_e.afs in dat folder, click on afs file in left window to expand it then go into 150pl.afs/150pl_auto.afs/150pl_auto_uni.afs
these are the kits for each team, unixxxga is goalkeeper home, gb is goalkeeper away, pa is home kit, pb is away kit and vg is gloves
england uni006
germany uni009
italy uni013
spain uni025
right click any kits you want to edit/replace and select export file and save it
open it with we pic decoder
you can find kits on the wolfs site http://www.wolfkonamisoccer.org/Uniforms.htm
save them as bmp files then open them in photoshop as you need to convert them to 8bit, seclect colours/decrease colour depth/x colours (4/8bit) and save it
in we pic decoder select input/output, import/export full image, import bmp and select the bmp you want to replace the original kit with
then press f2 and the transparency window will open, click set opaque and save it overwriting the original kit you exported from the afs file
in afs explorer right click the kit your replacing and select the new kit to import it, if the new file size is smaller it'll ask to pad with zeros, if it's bigger then you need to modify the reserved space (i'm not sure how to do this yet and can only import smaller files so far)
now start the demo to check if it's worked
i'm now gonna have a go at hex editing the team and player names so i can change the teams to club teams
