Courtesy might be to MOVE my post to the requests sticky (as is done by most other mods) instead of closing it.

What exactly is the point in closing it and leaving it on the board anyway? I can only assume it's because you want people to be impressed by your authoritarian attitude :rolleyes:

The sticky is rather pointless because kit makers never check it regularly and I’d wait 6 months. My bad for trying to get it done sooner.

The reason he closed it and left it, is for you to see. If he deletes it, you will be wondering about what happened to the thread, and probably ust start the same thread again. He didn't do it to impress anyone with his authority. If you notice, the closed threads disappear after while but stay closed long enough for the creator to see to prevent duplicate threads which are a nuisance.

The forum has to be run by some rules to prevent it from becoming a madhouse.

yep thats true. it just for you to know what happened to it.

and besides, we cant move posts from a thread to another one that already exists. there's no such an option.
