i know that goals are very few since the demo gives us 5 mins of play and the gameplay is very realistic so the scoreline is kept at realistic levels.

Ive been playign 5 stars and scored a beautiful goal today. A Beckham corner, cushioned headered by Heskey, Rio Ferdinand finishes with a beautiful scissors kick from 6 yards out. Kahn has no chance.

Best so far has been an own goal

Playing 5*, in libero grande/fixed player mode as Totti against England(I find 5* best for this mode as the AI is at its best...also choosing a player with the playmaker special ability greatly increases the chance of you receiving the ball). Dying minutes of the match, 1 nil down, strategy set to all out attack while England are playing deep(big surprise :) ).

I pick up the ball, just inside the centre circle in our own half, lay it off to Zanetti who holds it up for a second then plays the ball wide on the left to Zambrotta who is charging forward, chased by Beckham.

By this time I've sprinted Totti(who is now completely knackered) to the edge of the area and have dragged Ferdinand to almost overlap with Neville. Ferdinand passes me off to Neville just as Zambrotta plays me the ball, a quick turn skins Neville and I sprint into the area, itching to go for goal with Ferdinand closing in.

At this moment I see Vieri has drifted away from Cambell, I take another touch and take the ball to the by-line and thump a low ball across, stranding the keeper. Vieri lines it up inside the six yard box just as Ashley Cole comes sliding in to save the day... but only manages to toe the ball past a helpless James.

I like this game :)

we mine was a very good goal, well worked corner went deep, headed back and across onto the onrushing valery who volleyed it first time into the bottom corner

What camera angle do you find best for playing in fixed-player mode?

I was playing it yesterday as Gary Neville (no he's not my hero or anything, but I play RB myself, so thought I'd try first in a position where I have the positional understanding not to be a liability), and found myself having to keep switching between looking at the pitch and looking at the map when I was off camera. This probably happens least on 'wide' camera, but it can still be a problem glancing down at the map and not knowing which dot you are, because all of your team have the same colour dot.

Any insight?

Nah mate, would be much better if the camera followed your player instead of the ball. Not such a bad thing though as it gets you used to using the radar, to spot player runs and gaps in the field etc.

Haven't scored too many yet, I am sad to admit, but one of the good ones was a cross from the very edge of the field on the right side to Totti who was making a LOOONG run all the way from outside the box, to the far side of the goal, and dove like a rocket to squeeze it into a tight angle.

Reminiscent of McBride vs. Portugal in WC2002.

This is my best one. Nothing flash mind, I just like it when the keeper is fooled :)

just scored a wicked goal with scholes! about 40 yards out from the centre of goal, i did that little flick up move, let the ball drop and whacked it from about 30 yards, straight in the top left corner the keeper nowhere near it!

what i want to know is, how do i do this chip i can't seem to do it every time, i've been pushing up then down on the 2nd analog, is this right? only played pes this week so still getting the hang of the controls so haven't got many screamers yet...

my best goal was with Dyer for England, i was far out on the left wing, i cut in and beat one player and then sidestepped the next to get to the corner of the penalty area, i then faked a shot past one player into the penalty area before lofting the ball gently over Buffons head.

European Cup final aswell.

To do the flick up move using the right analog stick:

Press down on the analog stick for about 1/2 a second than quickly press up.

In player settings screen(screen after you select exhibition). Keep pressing L1(changes the automatic player change option) till it gets to "fix", a couple of screens later you select who you want to control.

Bananadude: Changing cursor speed to FIX allows you to play in Libero Grande mode, where you only control one player on the pitch.

GK Cursor allows you to control the goalkeeper too.

Cursor Speed changes the level of automatic player switching. Press R1 till the bar is full and you will have full cpu player switching.
Press L1 until the bar is empty and it will change from semi-auto to Manual, in this mode you control all player changes with L1(best for me by far).
Press it again and you have no player switching and are fixed to one player - fixed mode.(in the full version you can change the player you wish to control in game but this menu is greyed over in the demo)

GK crsr turn manual keepers on or off, I think.

Yeah, there is a thread called VirtualDub, which contains very good information about editing your video afterwards.

I'm tending to play games at 640x480 so that the video recording is quicker, at 1024x768 it takes about 1 frame per second to record!
