The Balance of a league, i.e., the number of teams equally contending for a title, doesn't say anything about the league's quality.

In regard to the original topic, I agree, Galatasaray should be shown some respect, although I think it already is awed by many: How can you ignore a team who kicked Milan out of the ECC and humiliated Mallorca (who btw were runner-ups last year in the cup-holders' cup).

Turkey league does not stink. I would say it is about as good as Greek league- they both have 2 or three pretty good teams. Also don't even compare these leagues to Italian or English, of course they are not as good, but Scottish?! Scottish is ranked 26! behind Cyprus and before Israel, so I think if you say Scottish league is better than Turkish you should wake up and smell the coffee.
