I wonder why nobody yet had considered the possibility of making the human player control a single player in a football video game seriously..
i mean in we4 or Fifa it'd have been an idea to control a single player and try to go all the way,u could even be a goalie like what i used to do in the genesis version of fifa96!!
i'd buy a game where u make ur way to the top by playing individually in a team, there were some tries like Alex Reeves'player manager and a game called striker no9 for amiga but none of them survived,any thoughts?

There's a gamme called Libero Grande which let's you control just one player. I've never played it but it sounds like what you're after. I know it was available on PSX but not sure about PC.

I've actually played Libero Grande in the arcades and it really sucks!!! ur AI team mates have no idea what the heck is going on, and the 3rd person perspective suck big time.
