Yeah man the game stores should stop jerking us around and only put up a release date when the company who's producing the game officially announces their release date.

Yeah mate i had the exact same conversation. Although i asked the ps2 release date. They go should definetetly be here on the 28th. Ok .

I ring them up today and asked is fifa 2004 in today. They replied.
It should hopefully be in by the end of the week. This isnt the first time its happened. I felt like telling them off and telling them to do something right for a change. So if i dont get it by this thursday on ps2 31st then i think im going to crack.

Could you post a link to confirm this, I don't know how the Gamecube version could be the best, it doesn't even have online play and that's mostly the Nintendo's fault. Xbox would have online if EA and Microsoft would come to terms but they still have yet to do so.

I wouldn't be suprised if the PC version comes out down here 7th November. Don't get your hopes up everyone! It'll only end in disapointment... :)

SYDNEY PEOPLES don't buyf rom eb, buy from big w, big w i got a brochure from it, says ps2,xbox,gamecube out, and on the front it says sales from 1st-7th so basically it'll be out this saturday the 1st, and i dun think big w are gonna push back something thats on their BROCHURE. so yeh and eb sells for 98 bux i think, big w sells for 86 bux, btw, who knows? eb might put it back again, but big w won't coz it's on their FRIGGIN BROCHURE.but even if eb comesout on 31st, u can wait 1 more day and get 12 bux off, so yeh. unless u have too much money to spare and rather get it a day early taht is ehehehe.

EB price match and you can return the game within seven days.I have never had a problem with EB, if the release date is pushed back then it's pushed back.I was happy that they had fifa 2004 and pes3 in stock before the release dates they told me for both games when i pre-ordered them.

Hey i bought rugby 2004 and i was sadly dissapointed EA has done nothing to make this game enjoyable. The gameplay is choppy and the graphics haven't changed in 3 versions and if you were looking forward to the player editor forget it if your player has got 'black' skin you can't see his face, nd they've only got like 20 different hair styles 5 of which look exactly the same. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

but back to the subject of EB, today i rang them again 9the day after the game should have been released) and now instead of say thursday-friday thier saying sometime next week. FALSE PROMISE'S GET YOU NOWHERE. maybe they don't understand that people DON'T like to be lied to!!!

the only good thing that has come from EB is thier hasel free 7 day return scheme i have benefited greatly for that (i just thought i better even out the bad with the good)

SGO Boss guy. Do you have any proof its officially released 31st. I think all EB's have said by the end of the week. Because they recive no stock on weekends it could be tommorow. I am really hoping its tommorow for PS2.

EB has no power over the release dates.. they go by what they are told.

the trouble with EB is that they don't seem to hire gamers to work their stores. Last time I was in an EB store the guy behind the counter was telling me about these great team specific MANAGEMENT games called "club football" which were coming in. :rolleyes:
