This means that the referee has tried to play advantage for a foul that has just happened.

then why dont he give me foul when the other player takes the ball after he tackles me...

because thats rugby and not football. If you lose it after advantage thats your prob.

Well, im new here, but let me tell you something Gobby, in fact in football the referee CAN take back the action after the advantage and give the free kick if the team lose the ball quickly after the "foul". Its one of the lastest rules on the Fifa. But then again its just a game and it cant be perfect.

Yesterday i was running directly to score (without goalkeeper) and the last defender foul me, but the ball end up in a score...but the referee gave me a penalty (too bad, not realistic) but...its just a game.

It doesn't work that well actually, because in a game i was playing today micheal owen (me) slid in on this german defender, the defender toppled over and the yellow icon appeared, that defender was the further player back for the germans and micheal owen was clean through to score....

I don't like very much the advantage in the game because sometimes there is NO advantage and I lose the ball immediately... In some case my player is falling down and the referee gives advantage, that isn't good :(

I think it's great because it causes the frustration you mention just now. This frustration & inconsistency gives the game more variety and more realistic as the Refs do miss/screw up calls

I think it's good and bad but i would rather have it in the game then not...good of Konami to actually try it.

isnt it also just a sigs as: ''PLAY ON'' i dont kno but i think it also means this... cause most off the time u havent really got advantage ...

Also, in this game, the linesmen actually do make mistakes when calling offsides ! But its one of the features of the game tho.

Indeed, I've had a couple of instances of being given offside when a player was clearly on, and another case whereby a player was a mile offside but carried on...

This is the ugly sides of realism :D

Actually, the 'advantage' rule appears to be the play-on call be the referee. The yellow icon clearly shows the ref calling play on(arms outstretched), and if that is the case, play CANNOT be pulled back once the call has been made. When the referee plays advantage, he is making a common-sense decision and doesn't make any gestures. They're two slightly different situations.

the advantage rule needs a bit of a review IMO

Well, how realistic! A referee that has a problem with his eyes! ;)

But anyway, it's not always the wrong decission as far as I can see in the demo. In real football refs do make bad judgements on this rule a lot....so perhaps it's meant to be unfair at times. (just a guess).
