actually they only had 10 players, so arsenal could only choose 10... therefore they decided that stack would not take a penalty, and wiltord was the next up...
edit: i just realized stack DID take one... tavlaridis i believe didnt

Noone really, if you win in penaltys it does not count as a win but Arsenal go through because they won the penalties 9-8
