I don't expect much trouble for Bayern and Dortmund

Hendrik

Well I do!

We're not playing good football at the moment, I expect both teams to finish in a draw.

About the Dortmund vs. Hamburg game...I'd normally say it should be an easy win for Dortmund, but I can see Hamburg getting three points out of the Westfalenstadion.

Dortmund are hit by several injuries and should have problems to find 11 players who are able to play on Saturday.

Here's a list of the players who are either injured or banned

Metzelder
Koller
Amoroso
Kehl
Dede
Leandro
Demel
Evanilson
Conceicao
Frings
Addo

That's a whole first team that's out for Dortmund! I think Bayern will win 3-1 and I can't predict the Hamburg game. Isn't a Makaay header goal just a beautiful thing?

It's an awful time for Dortmund, now. Not only are we missing our key players, but we also just got knocked out of the cup by M'gladbach. Kehl got a 5 day ban, Dede will be out for a week with injury, Amoroso is still injured, but, Koller should still be able to play, though. Ewerthon and Rosicky will certainly fill in some of the void. I think they'll get by Hamburg.

Hendrik

Dede will be out for 2-3 moths...

Bayern-Schalke 2:0... Salihamidzic '5 and Ballack '24

Dortmund-HSV 0:1... Barbarez '38

Also another interesting match is gona take place between Freiburg and Stuttgart, IMO is better then the other two matches...

Stuttgart games are terribly boring. And especially one against Freiburg. Bayern-Schalke is the match of the weekend.

Hendrik
31-10-2003, 10:59:PM
Depends. The Stuttgart vs. ManU game was damn exciting! :D

Elder

Well, living in the USA I wasn't able to see it! But I was happy too Stuttgart win that game. Even if it was against my favorite goalkeeper in Tim Howard.

Hendrik
01-11-2003, 07:03:PM
Bergdölmo and Fernandez are also injured, they maybe can't play tomorrow.

13 out of 22 players are injured.

If you call that a penalty, I have some real estate on the moon to sell you.

What a sh*tty ref! A dive in teh box earns a penalty, and a dive in the other box earns a red card for a Linke. Anyone want my Schalke04 jersey? Today this team makes me sick.

Stuttgart vs. Freiburg 1:1 Kuranyi '33 / Coulibaly '45... end of first

I hate that dick Oude Kamphuis. C.Ronaldo couldn't have done it any better.

At least Stuttgart won their match. Two goals by Kevin Kuranyi (H)

I love N. Oude Kamphuis. He made the schwalbe, he was the one who made the Bayern player got red and he made a goal. What a player :)

Hendrik
01-11-2003, 10:10:PM
And he's Dutch.

We need to win next week vs. Dortmund. Last season we had a bad phase till the Dortmund game. We won it and we were back.
Deja vu baby (H)

What an asshole ref. He was the only reason that Schalke won this game. He gives a sheisse penalty, and a red card all in the same half! Er kannst mir am arschleken! Er ist eine Tunte! Ich bin sauer!! Anyway, my german sucks, but you get the point.

I remember last years Dortmund game at the Olympiastadion and Mr. Lehmans red card. What a game that was, and hopefully it will happen again next week.

Nobody wants my Schalke trikot? I will burn it then. I can't stand players who dive and the teams who support them.

I think we're forgetting two of the fundamental rules of football here:

1.Any tactics used vs. Bayern Munich are fair tactics.
2.Any call the ref makes against Bayern Munich is a good call.

What was the last Stuttgart game you watched? They're not as entertainment as Bayern ( ;)), but they're not boring.

Finally a team that gives young German players a chance - Kuranyi, Hinkel, Hildebrand, Tiffert,...

Elder
02-11-2003, 10:45:AM
I see Stuttgart play just about every week here in the US. We have two games per week on TV from die Bundesliga and a highlights show. I do like their young players, but defensive football is not my cup of tea. Yes, today they scored 4 goals, but that is a rare occurance. Instead of 1-0 games or 0-0 games, give me a 3-3 draw or a 3-2 game. Stuttgart deserve respect for their defensive work this year, and even for last year to be honest, but I find them rather boring at times.

lol let him enjoy his Portuguese league. ;)

However, everyone has his favourite league and it often depends on the different way they play football. For example: I'm not interested in watching Serie A or La Liga games, I'd rather watch Bundesliga or EPL.

Not at all offended by your opinion. But don't expect to come into a Bundesliga thread and slam it, and then get nothing back in return. What my point was regarding your comment was that Foxsportsworld didn't have the rights to any of the top teams in La Liga, so we were stuck with lower teams that nobody cared about. Except the odd Valencia game they showed.

You won't have to spank yourself, don't worry. I know you love that moderator power, but this time you can let yourself off easy.

4 minutes till kick off. :crazyboy:

The Bundesliga can be pretty fun to watch, depending on what teams are playing. Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund and Hannover are all entertaining teams.

But unless one of these teams is playing, the games usually are low-scoring, boring affairs. The only joy I get out of watching Bayern games is when they get their asses kicked. There's nothing more satisfying than watching Bayern lose, yet seeing them win leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Elder

Huh? 4 goals in 10 minutes just happened at the Dortmund game, and I think die Bundesliga is ranked 2nd in Europe for most goals per league. France is ranked lowest I think, and Italy is in the middle somewhere.

But way to go Dortmund! 2-0 down and come back to win 3-2. How's that for BORING?!?!
