Matt Holme

Here is what I posted today at FIFA 2000 Online apologising about my mistake in the FEd2000 release. I also apologise to those you who posted messages and I was not able to reply to them as I was not online last night.
Well, do I have a bit of explaining to do? First thing I will say is that I completely messed up and my actions were inexcusable. I have no shame in admitting that I have made a huge blunder. I will now try to explain why this happened, and try to make sense of the past few hours. I hope you will see that I am sincerely sorry for what I have done.
I would like to start off by apologising to anyone involved in the creation of FEd2000 inparticular Joey Jones and Chau Le. The posting of the direct link to download FEd2000 from this site was done in a hurry as I had commitments to attend to on Friday night, and would not have been able to be online to post a link to Joey's Offial FEd2000 site. I completely misunderstood an email that was sent to me earlier in the week containing what I thought was the final version of FEd2000. I was wrong. As you can see by the number of links I had posted to the Official FEd2000 site, I never intended to draw any hits or publicity away from that site.
I would like to thank the people who defended me last night in the forum. As a number of them stated, why would I (Matt Holme) want to deliberately take anything away from FEd2000 by doing something illegal? I have always supported Chau Le and what ever he has done, and I had absolutely no concerns over the FEd2000 site not being part of Soccer Gaming this year.
For those of you who visited this site earlier you would have seen the mess it was in. I don't know who did this, but I do not agree with it. However, due to my incredibly bad mistake I made, I will not take any actions into looking into who did it. I'll simply change the passwords to this site.
I wish I could turn back time and not do what I did. But as we all know this is not possible. All I can say is that I am sorry, and I will make every possible effort to make sure everything is sorted out between the parties involved. If anyone has any questions for me about this, feel free to email me at matt@soccergaming.com.
For now, please use the new links at the top of this page to download the full release copy of FEd2000. If you already have FEd2000 and it is working, please download the latest version again also.
