I have 99 and love it.
The things that make 2k look good to me are the lower div teams for cup games and the new moves but what about editing players and teams is this feature good or poor? I would like it to be a real football game not an arcade game is it? What makes it better than 99 (if so)?Would it run choppy gameplay on my pc? (99 was fine but FAPLS runs terrible)

I know i`ve asked alot but do your best please.

Well, here we go....
Teams from lower divisions only accessible if you play against them, patch will be out soon.
Multiple season mode OK, with very unrealistic fixture list.
Player & team editors pretty much the same, although the players look a lot worse than the ones in Fifa 99.
Speed still at pinball-level, no improvements here...
Gameplay choppy as hell, even on high-end PC's/3D-cards.

A few additions of my own:

Hardly any player commentary
Terrible rosters
Really sad graphics (although most everyone else seems to disagree with me)

Bottom line: if you loved Fifa 99, download the speed-patch and a 1999-2000 update and leave Fifa 2000 where it belongs: rotting on the shelf at some forgotten store.
By the way, I was stupid enough to buy it....

Just my two cents' worth,

King Kenny.

Hi Goonerbhoy,

You can download both speedpatch(look under patches) and Fed 99 (best utility ever made for a soccer game, lets you customise the game completely to your liking) at www.fifa99.net. You have to use Internet Explorer to access the page. Both are really worth your while!
