View Full Version : New Plan for World Cup Qualifying in CONCACAF

This plan basically makes things easier for the better soccer nations (USA, Mexico, Costa Rica). They won't have to play in the first round, a home-and-home series in the winter. Basically, if you sucked in the last WC qualifying, you have to play an elimination round and 10 teams will only play 2 games before getting knocked out of qualifying.

Meh... it would have been kinda fun watching the US play vs. Montserrat, just to see how many we can score in one game. Landon Donovan would have had a shot at breaking Wynalda's record. :D

This way makes more sense though.

As if the USA, Mexico, and Costa Rica need any more help in CONCACAF...:rolleyes: There's no competition left for those 3 in this region..

It really would have been fun to see the USA play Montserrat. However, we will still have the chance to play some really bad teams.

There probably is no competition for USÁ or Mexico, bu their is for Costa Rica (Honduras and Guatemala)
