Anyone using GamePad Pro with Xperience 4.01
running with Direct X 7? I want to upgrade
to Direct X 7 from 6.1 but get information
that Xperience 4.01 is not compatible with
Direct X 7. Is it true? Thanks for your help.

Can anyone help me with the above problem?
Thank you.

You have to help me out here.
Is Xperience 4.1 the program that lets you
customise the controls via keyboard simulation? If that's the case, then I might have the same problem you have. Since installing direct X 7 I haven't been able to create new key sets for games.
I didn't know it was a direct X problem though.

I took a look at the Gravis site and you can find an answer about it using the following link:
http://38.200.209.141/support2/readlink.asp?query_id=246&osvalue=win98,
It is not too positive I am afraid: They are aware of the problem but did not fix it yet.
They are working on an update of Xperience and as long as it isn't there the only way of using Xperience is going back to directx 6, which means reinstalling Windows '98 http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif
Strange that Microsoft didn't provide a way to uninstall direct x 7. You get the feeling that Microsoft want to force you to use their software, else things don't work. It's getting worser and worser with them.... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif
