View Full Version : Shooting Free Kicks In Fifa 2004!?!?!??!?! McShadyPL 05-11-2003, 08:49:AM Does anyone know how to shoot an actual free kick in 2004? My shots always sail about 20 feet over the net, no matter what I do..... Is it even possible?? HELP !! PornStar 05-11-2003, 08:52:AM haha same here i can never get it right :D I think its time some one opened a FIFA 2004 Tips and Tricks forum. :D brumbies00 05-11-2003, 08:54:AM practise aza 05-11-2003, 08:56:AM I can't get it right, Fifa 2003 free kicks were great in my mind of you. They weren't to complicated and you could score nice goals. Eventually i will figure out fifa 2004 freekicks when i get the game later today McShadyPL 05-11-2003, 08:57:AM Practice??? Trust me, I've been practicing for a LOOONG time and ALWAYS have the same result....this really sucks.... brumbies00 05-11-2003, 08:59:AM well i can manage it now, not all the time, but a realistic amount. my only advice is don't put too much power, about 3/4 and stop it in the green are for accuracy. shevacrazy07 05-11-2003, 09:04:AM Man, FIFA 2003's system was great but a bit too easy, now they made it too hard! kangle4 05-11-2003, 09:05:AM it is easy on gamecube!!! brumbies00 05-11-2003, 09:06:AM it's not too hard, just takes time. trust the more you use it the closer you will get to perfecting it. my fear is once i've played for a while longer then it will become as easy as last year to score. IceBlu 05-11-2003, 09:16:AM its real easy - Aim to an unprotected area of the net, add some curl... then Press D, stop the power bar from going all the way.... then when it comes back, make it stop on the green area on the bar. I've scored quite a few goals from free kicks. syaz_wan03 05-11-2003, 09:20:AM btw: iceblue ...plz check ur pm ;) me.........still not buy fifa2004 and really scare if i cant score freekick with beckham :crazyboy: :D McShadyPL 05-11-2003, 09:26:AM A HUGE THANKS TO "Juventino" !!!!!!!! My problem was that I let the bar go all the way, but the trick is to stop it BEFORE it goes to the end..... Thanks again !!!! Wisher 05-11-2003, 09:31:AM I can make it on the goal but I have to admit it's kinda hard. I have not scored from freekicks yet.. :mrpimp: Rabsy86 05-11-2003, 09:34:AM its easy lol.. I think it soo much easier then fifa 2003 masakiandou 05-11-2003, 11:07:AM For all the guys out there can't hit the ball on target, please be sure to have yourself known to the following... I learnt this from official FIFA forum. You have to press D three times in order to shoot on target. 1. First press starts the cursor. 2. Second press stops the yellow bar increasing, you have to press the second before the yellow bar reaches the end of the bar. 3. Then you have to press D the third time and make it in the green area. You should have a good shot already (at least makes the keeper works). But, the goalkeeper is the way to strong. I, in practice mode, tried free kick and I only got 2/10, approximately of course. I almost got all the shots on my target (the corner) but the keeper can touches the ball on every attempt, if not saving successfully. The goalkeeper punched the ball successfully even for the 2 goals I made. This is not quite realistic because I am using Ronaldinho and Rustu touches those almost perfect shots. They should have at least 1 - 2 shots out of 10 that the keeper can't even touch or standing and watching the ball. ngyc 05-11-2003, 11:11:AM ya, do shot on target but so far haven't score Thelonious 05-11-2003, 11:16:AM I can get them on target nearly all the time , but the keeper always seems to save them. masakiandou 05-11-2003, 11:20:AM I think, this year, we have to make the goalkeeper work and he has to be out of this position. Then, have the ball bounce back to you, and you shoot to the empty goal or shoot whenever the goalkeeper can't do anything to it. This is a good way to score goals because I succeed for quite a few times already... TypeR 05-11-2003, 11:32:AM I totally mastered freekicks after about 5 days or so, hard at 1st but after you get it its a piece of cake. masakiandou 05-11-2003, 11:40:AM Do you mean you score for every direct free kick you attempted? If this is the case, I will have to practise really hard on that...;) TypeR 05-11-2003, 12:07:PM I dont score all of them, but I do score 90% of them. sudhan 05-11-2003, 05:09:PM dont u have a manual..its in it.. Amdy Faye 05-11-2003, 07:13:PM Free kicks are brilliant for the Ps2 version. You just aim for where you would in real life, then put the right spin on, then power up and stop it on the green mark, I scored a lovely free kick with Ronaldinho, he's magic at taking them, i've scored quite a few and it's not impossible to score! |
