have anyone the same problem, when the game starts in direct IP its freeze and its not lag

I can't get either to work, it just says its tryting to establish connection, the mouse moves, and I can jump to my task manager and close fifa, but it never connects?

i tried 1 game.. and it froze after 2 mins.

with the new patch 1.1, sometimes whenever i join a game, instead of selecting the control and start the game, it shows me a frozen black screen for about 3 mins before popping back to the fifa main menu.

You'd think that EA would test their patches prior to distributing them!
I have yet to try 'Direct IP'............. the game worked very well on their server though, although that's not what the patch is for.
Maybe they knew it was bug-ridden, therefore they left it out of the retail product??

Let's hope they resolve it...

At least we can use the matchup server in the meantime...

How do you setup a direct IP game? where is it located in the menus ?.

I have it working now...I had to un-install the game then re-install it and now the direct IP function works just fine.
