Bought the game yesterday (PSX version)and I have to say it doesn't look as good as F99. The players are ugly, it looks like they've all had a punch in the mouth. Stadiums are not that great either. In fact they're crap.
Basically all you purists out there won't like it as the pitch is small but I don't think any smaller than F99.
It seems that you can set all your player attributes to max.(7) so all you cheats out there will love it.
The classic team section is a nice touch, they've made it look old and I like it, but it'll be a matter of taste.
Over all the game is very playable with the sheilding adding to the realism but it's not any better or any worse than it's predecessor. The season play looks good with the cups in there too.
I'm happy enough with it but a lot of you won't be, and I guess we'll just have to wait for F2001 to see if EA have listened to all the criticism.
