With Fifa 2000, witch is a realy worse game, the game looks a lot like Fifa 95, Is gonna be beaten by other company's I think. At the moment FIFA 99 is still the best soccer game, but wait and see, EA Sports is gonna lose the fight for the best Soccer series. And they loses customers too, like me... I wait until everyboby says that the game is realy realy great, until I buy fifa 2001...
(like everybody I guess?)

I think that the score of fifa 2000 will be something like 60% Instead of 91% of fifa99!

ONE MORE YEAR FIFA 99 !!!

I hope someone brought UEFA Soccer to the PC.
It looks and plays better that FIFA 2000!

I agree with you all although I've bought the fifa2000.
There are a lot of great stadiums in
http://fifa99.cyber-soccer.net/
You can download there to refresh your fifa99.

I agree with you Beatie. Read my posting about my complaints. I should've added to my complaints that no one in the USA cares about MSL, but it keeps getting shoved down our throats. I am seriously thinking about purchasing the UK version through the internet so I can get the English commentators. I feel as if EA Sports had a responsibility to the world to produce a product everyone would be excited about. Instead, they've made it WORSE. It's not as if other companies' soccer products got better than the FIFA series, it's that FIFA2000 may actually be worse than FIFA99. Sure, the snow looks more realistic, but excuse me, exactly what stadium am I playing in?

As far as I am concnerned, Championship Manager 3 is the best football simulation EVER!
I have stopped playing FIFA 2000 for now, until they come out with a patch to fix a bunch of things! Besides, I am hooked on cm3!! It is a spetacular game!!

CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER 3 MAKES FIFA 2K LOOK LIKE DOG ****!

In championship manager are you limited to english league only, or can you play other leagues?
I agree that in many ways 2000 is worse then 99. This is not first time this happened to an EA series though, for ex. some of their ice hockey games and Madden series were worse than their predecessors.

I still believe that this is the second time EASPORTS made mistake; first is FIFA 97, which is the transition version to rtwc98, and then this damn version FIFA 2000, which I think will be improved in later version, FIFA road to EURO probably, I really hope so!
Anyway, EASPORTS still provides the best sports game! Trust me!

Regards,

Icabola

PS> But still FIFA 2000 sucks!!

Galo,

A few questions about Championship Manager 3:

1) Is it better that Ultimate Soccer Manager from Sierra Sports?

2) Is Major League Soccer (MLS) included in the game?

3) Is there going to be a Championship Manager 4 coming out soon (if so, perhaps I should wait on buying CM3?)?

4) Is there an official website for CM3, and do they constantly post patches for updated rosters and such?

Thanks.

Yes, CM3 is better(MUCH BETTER) than Ultimate Soccer Manager.

Like I said in my post, ALL the leagues from all around the world are included, but unfortunantly MLS is not one of the 16 leagues you can play as.

In December a new version of CM3 will be coming out, it will be called Championship Manager 99/00 (I think..) It will feature up to date EVERYTHING for the 99/00 season.
But I'm not sure if it is an addon or a new version.
And yes,MLS will be included as a playable league in Championship Manager 99/00

Yes there is an official site, and tons of other sites to. I dont know the URL off the top of my head, but they are constantly updating things in the game via downloads!!

But I only played the demo. Maybe this is a stupid question to you, but where can I find the warez version of it?

If you cannot publish address on this forum can you mail it to me?
My address is Nififa@hotmail.com

What's your problem!?!
FIFA2K is much more playable than 99, although the graphics is a letdown.
Personally i own all the fifa-games.
I also own Cm3 and usm2 & usm98.
USM is a good game but it's a spankyAss-game if you compare it to Cm3.
You may get bored by the Cm3 graphics(is it really graphics) but no one is even close when it comes to the details.

Galo, where do you get the warez!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

Por Favor diga-me!!!!

There is nothing like playing CM3, You feel you are there.

My exp: I played Liverpoll, but I end the season at 7th so I was dismissed... But Southend gave me a chance. Southend end the last season in 20th of the 3th English Division... So I bought young and cheap players from Africa and Brazil, and 2 exp attackers to lead the tem and start my new team.
1 Year - 2° at 3 Division, Promotion to 2 Division.
2 Year - 7° at Division and won the Winshield cup (or something like it...)
3 Year - 1° at Division, best defense, and Promotion! Player of the year Edmilson, 20 years Brazil Midfield.
4 Year - 5° at Division, and won the Playoff! We got to the Premier Division!!!!! My best players: Roget Defender, 22 years (play all 4 years), Zongo Right Midfield, 22 Years Zimbabue, Edmilson Right Midfield, 21 years and Boere 35 Years attackers the legend (score more then 100 golas in 4 years). Note: Baba Sule - I bought the guy for $150, after 6 months Liverpool bought him from me for $12,5 M!!!!!!
5 Year - Last at the division - Relegated... The young players could not play with the preassure...
6 Year - I Start it last week, with 10 games, we are number 1°!!!

The is nothing like to watch a player growth, the young men became the best player in the world...

Nicely put Lord, thats what CM3 is all about, that is what football is all about. FIFA doesnt even come close to giving us that experience.
It sounds like you have the full version already, why do you want the warez? Or is your version just a demo?
Anyway, I stumbled upon CM3 in a warez site I cant even remember. I had followed a BUNCH of links, then next thing I know, there was CM3!
But here is what I would do if you want the warez: Go to www.easywarez.com, once you are there, go to the message board. To post anything, you have to register like you do here. But after you register, you can post anything you want regarding warez stuff.
Post a message asking where you can find CM3,and many people will be glad to help you!

Fifa 2000 65% no way Fifa 2000 93% thats better, lets be serious no one will give it anyway near 65% big magazines will give it top scores P.C Zone the best p.c magazine in the world will give it a classic review and P.C Gamer will give it game of the month review. Not even one review on the internet said it's a bad game they all gave it over 90% 4/5 or 9/10 so dont give me that 65% crap. Fifa 2000 will be the best game of the year and will keep it's crown as best or king football game of the year and the only way another game can take the crown away from them this year is if EA Sports bring us another great football game and thats a fact.
EA SPORTS ARE THE BEST ... COME ON EA BRING US MORE FOOTBALL GREATS . http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

In Championship Manager 3, there are 16(at least) leagues, that you can play with. They are the same as FIFA, but include the Argentinan and Japanese league in the place of Greece and Turkey. And for each of these leagues, there are teams from ALL the divisions,1st division,2nd division,3rd division ect.... you get the point. And you can play with ANY of these teams! I find it fun to get a team from a lower division and try to work my way up to the top!
Now, even though you can only play AS teams from those 16 leagues, EVERY OTHER TEAM AND LEAGUE IN THE WORLD IS INCLUDED! I am not joking here. Not only that, but ALL the players in the world are included, and unlike FIFA, they are ALL accurate, with the right attributes! Even a clubs staff is accurate, from the President right down to the trainer!
You can buy/borrow ANY player from ANY team in the world. BUT, the team has to agree to it,and you must have enough money and finances to buy that player.
Other clubs will come to you wanting to buy or borrow a player, and you can either agree(giving your team some cash!) or reject the offer!
PLUS, every single competition in the world is included, from the World Cup, to National tournaments, to international cups, and even domestic tournaments!
And you win money for qualifing to cups, or just by winning big games!
And the players have feelings to! They may want to leave a club because they cant adjust to the life style of that country, or maybe they had a fight with the board ect....

The things in this game are WAY too many to tell you about. My advice is, go buy it!! Or get the warez version like I did. This game is really incredible!!!
What was that RIC, FIFA 2000 is the best football game out right now? I dont think you have played CM3.

OH, one more thing I MUST mention, you can control your reserve team to! You can promote a young player from the reserves to your senior squad, or relegate a senior player to the reserves to get more experience!
And yes, you can play multiple seasons with promotions and relagtions ect.....only in CM3, unlike FIFA 2k, relagation doesnt mean Game over,it means you must work your way back up, or get fired and become the manager of another smaller club!!
For those of you that are wondering, yes, you can choose what currency your players get payed in! And belive me, pretty much EVERY currency in the world is in this game, even the Brazilian Real!! COOL!!!!!

Wait till you play fifa 2000 for a week, then you will appreciate how much better fifa 99 and 98 rtwc was for its time. I bought all fifa games since 97 and this is the first time i have to say im disappointed.

Well thanks for the info on CM, but you make it sound like the game is heavy on making transfers and such but that is not what interests me the most.

Also you mention there is world cup in this game, but can you be a national team coach?

Galo
06-11-1999, 06:51:AM
Yes, but you have to earn the right to be a national team coach!
And there is MUCH, MUCH more to CM3 than the transfer system.......you have to see it to belive it!

Tony Trickyfinger

You don't have to earn the position to become a nationalteam coach! When in the team select screen, click on any team, then if you want to be England's coach click on an english player and on his nationality and whoops! the team on the screen is England!
Just click on "take control".

Nibiru

Can you actually play the game in CM3 or is it just manage and watch type of manager?
If so.. how's the gameplay?

Galo
07-11-1999, 05:02:PM
You dont actually control the game in CM3. Its just like in real life where you are the manager, and you make all the decisions and watch your players excecute on the field.
The games are played in real time, meaning there are ALWAYS games going on from all over the world at ALL times. Some may affect you, and some may not, but some Cup, or Tournament, or Friendly game is always being played by teams from EVERY corner of the globe!
During the game, you watch it as if you were listining to a game on the radio, but with text. Belive me, I used to think that I needed pretty graphics to enjoy a football game, but after playing CM3, I see how insignificant pretty graphics are! And so shall you once you play it!
Here is an example from one of my games:

"Simone with a pass to feet. Baggio takes control and passes the halfway point. The pressure in on Baggio and he looks ahead for Ronaldo. Passes ahead 35 yards to Ronaldo, hoping he will run on to it! Ronaldo runs on to the ball and continues his attack! Ronaldo still comes, running fast! He takes on Ortega's challenge.....OH!!! Ortega with a perfectly timed tackle, and takes the ball away from Ronaldo!

Belive me, the games get VERY intense! You really get into them. Trust me, CM3 is a winner!!

And yes, the Romanian league is in the game, along with EVEY OTHER LEAGUE TO! BUT, the Romanian league is not one of the 16 leagues you can play as. BUT, there are patches that you can download to make your favorite leagues playable!
CM3 RULES!! If you are a true football fan, then you MUST get CM3, and just leave FIFA for little kids looking for an arcade game.

I'm realy suprised that people give the Fifa2k a higher score than 90%. I played all of the EA Sports soccer games, and I played all of them. I play since fifa 99 the games at worldclass level, and play it well. I won most of the modem games at my friend. So I think that the fifa2k game, will be better to play for beginners, but if you are experienced as I am, the game in no fun to play. Intresting thing Icabola2070 that you say that this engine of fifa2k meaby is just the first version, and needed to be inproved, so they can make a better game before EURO2000! Let's hope and see...

So i bought the fifa games since the very first one back in 94.
Fifa 97 was a big disappointment. 98 was good, World Cup 98, really good and fifa 99 excellent. But Fifa 2K????
The commentary is boring to death, the graphics (ati rage 128), are cartoonish, a lot of players are missing (Anderlecht in belgium is ridiculous: bad players, bad shirts.. and it's just one exemple). The game is only arcade oriented. Where is the spirit of the fifa serie? Where is EA Sports? (the latest NHL is not terrific) Where is my money???

I think the worst thing in CM3 is that the game is so slow.
It sucks to wait the other results. But i like it anyway. And anyone knows where can i download the Turkish league.

Galo
08-11-1999, 04:17:AM
In the game, click on the "websites" option. There you will find a **** load of CM3 websites. Visit them, and you will probably find the download you are looking for!

P.S.: Thanks to my manager skills, my Inter has just knocked Galatasaray out of the European Cup! But on the other hand,my team is doing poorly in the Serie A championship. I guess my players are concentrating more on Cup games instead of league games!

I've seen what you're saying about CM3. I think it is the same that in Spain and I don't know if in sudameric is called PCfutbol. I'm really looking forward for this year new edition which will be PCfutbol8.

I agree that everything in this game, but playability and graphics, is much beteer than fifa series.

When I play 2 tournments that I want to win, I use 2 teams, every game I change 3 players, so I have 22 players ready to play anytime.
Thatīs how I won the UEFA cup, Spain Cup and Spain Championship with Barcelona.

You can't deny that CM3 is the best soccer game in the world. It's miles better than Fifa 2000. It can run on any good Pentium configuration with at least a 1 meg video card. I enjoyed the game since cm2 96/97.

cm3 can be ordered online through many of those electronic malls.

stand back folks, cm99/00 is coming right up...
