I bought the "Gazzetta dello Sport" today wich you might know as a great soccer Newspaper, and on the very last page there was a picture of some new adidas soccer boots, they were called the F50 (all black with some yellow, but couldn't see very well: the pic was all dark)...
I think that adidas are coming out some new series of boots, just to make more profit, 'cause predators aren't enough...
BTW this think was for del piero 'cause as you might know it, today is his birthday and there was written, Ale for your birthday we're not offering you the usual shoes, those ones are called f50, they are the new sign of adidas on the feet of a great testimonial....:rolleyes:

What are the boots that Damien Duff and Harry Kewell are wearing at the mo, Are they an adidas prototype cause they are like all balck with a little bit of yellow maybe they are the F50?

:confused: I dont like them, they're too... Silver. I like hte predators I have, White and Black. They've got too much design. Sometimes the simplest way is the best way to go.

Those F50's look crap, those preds the first pic are ok but still the Nike Vapors are way better, I am afraid adidas has fallen behind when it comes to the football boot market to Nike at the momnet

well it looks like adidas now has a shoe for those quick and speedy players...much like the vapors for nike. before, you had everyone wearing the predators and the supernovas. kinda cool to see them having another product out.

but those new predators look sick.

i don't know about soccer but for hockey a lot of times they'll give out equipment not out for the public yet to the pros so they can promote it.

Yeah they do look pretty good.The only bad thing i notice about preds that with each version there is less and less rubber inserts on them.

I went over to my local footy store to buy Gunmetals yesterday. The owner, - i know him well, showed me the new adidas catalogs. The new preds and F50 were there and they looked pretty good. He said he should be getting them around Christmas.

I bough Lotto Shevas for now - have to play in something until the preds get here.

Liverpool's Harry Kewell has swapped his 'Predator' football boots for the latest adidas boot - the F50 - part of the new F Line clothing and boot range.

Kewell wore the 'F50' for the first time against rivals Manchester United at the weekend.

The product is launched next month in the UK and Kewell will head UK advertising campaigns with a handful of other Premiership players. In fact he's just completed a photo-shoot donning the new gear.

Team-mate John Arne Riise is also involved in the expensive campaigns along with the likes of Damien Duff and Joe Cole.

One of Gerard Houllier's targets is also involved in the UK targeted campaigns which is rather odd as he doesn't play in the Premiership

Yea Duff's always been Adidas, a few players who were Nike have now also moved, Viera etc. I still think Nike's the best though by far. The Nike Mercurials are just superb, all the best players have Nike, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Figo, just to name a few, yea Adidas have got Beckham, Raul, Zidane, but I think Nike still has better quality, I donno what you guys think?

im extremely into shoes, and all i can say is dissapintment regarding f50s and the predator pulse's....

the manias were a beautiful shoe - how the 3 lines went from one side and ended up at the toe of the foot... its dissapointing to see that they took away that design which was fantastic.

the f50 series is a smart idea, because last year EVERYONE was wearing black/red manias.... now, only the world-class players will wear the preds and the others will wear f50. The design is very cheap-looking, and i do not like the fact that it doesnt fully show that it is an adidas shoe (if u are watching a game and u dont know anything abt boots then u wouldnt have any idea that its adidas)

they copyrighted the 3 lines, which i must add is beauuutiful, now make use of it Adidas!

i think those new predators are hot. i dunno if i like them more than the manias, but it's because the current manias are classic.

and i don't think the f50 series are made for non-world class players. from what i've seen so far, it looks as if the shoes are built for the quicker players who are light on their feet (well, except john o'shea).

Maybe Adidas are being more like Nike!

The F50s could be the same as the Nike Air Zoom Total 90 ll which are for players like Totti, Figo etc, players who arent as fast, but have skill etc. The new Predetors could be the same as the Mercurials, for fast, quick-minded players like Ronaldo and Henry etc? Btw doesnt anyone think the new Predetor's look 'chunky' ??? on Adidas's website it says the Manias are 'light' which is a lie! Compared to the Nike Mercurials, Daym!

I am afraid to say but the gap between Nike and Adidas is just getting biger and bigger. Both those new boots look utter crap compared to Nikes range. As for quality Nike again win hands down. I currently have 2 pairs of vapors which I have to say are the best boot ever made, as well I have predator manias lunars which wouldn't have lasted 1 season, thats how crap the leather **** they use is, where I also have Nike AZ T90 II which I still have from like last season well before I got the manias and they are still is miles better condition.

can't really judge the shoes since i've never worn the new adidas, but from looks alone:

mercurial vapors > new predators > air zoom t90 ii > f50

The Nike Mercurials and the Nike Air Zoom Total 90 boots are the best to buy now. I think the Mercurials always will be. Right now the manias are okay but are heavy, and don't last long. The new Air Zoom boots look a lil shakey but hey that's only one picture. Maybe they'll change the whole layout, maybe that was an idea which they'll change. As for the mercurial, anyone know if there's any shots of the new one? If they're making one that is. But anyone who has Adidas now and is thinking about changing over to Nike, honestly do. The Air Zoom boots (worn by totti, carlos, figo etc) are magic, they're really light and easy to kick the ball in. The Nikeskin is superb and they don't rip easily. The Nike Mercurials in my view are the best boots in the world, they're the lightest, and last long. The blue ones are beautiful (my avatar) the new preds look ok but maybe a bit 'chunky' ??? I don't think the nikes look ugly, they are pimp. But i really hate the 90 thing on the boots. They should have used that nike scorpion symbol they used in the commercial when they played in the cage, becuause the scorpion would make the shoes look bad ass:p . Cant wait to see a different color. I will definately be getting the air zoom 90s i hate predators, the only ones i liked was the predator precisions but i cant find any silver ones only the black ones so i will get the nikes. i pretty much feel the same way... the only problem is im playing indoor, i never play outside, and i HAD the total 90 IIs, but the cushioning was HORRIBLE, i had blisters all over. the new mercurials are on this site, i posted them in another post a little while ago. rite now im using pred precision TURF for indoor, and they are OK... it takes away from the control of the ball, so id rather get something new... shud i just get the total 90 IIs again??

they might take the 90 away..

Don't know what's wrong with me, but I rather buy the new 90s than the f50. I just didn't like the no lace, yellow/gree and black color. But those new blue preds off the chain. I'd have a hard time choosing between those and the nike chromes.:crazyboy:

Edit: now that I've looked at the F50 again, I've realized that I'd have a hard time choosing between those and the 90s too.(H) The only problem with the F50 is the top, the dull leather on top just doesn't do it for me.

I have a pair of Predator Manias and a Pair of Vapors and I prefer the Predators, I don't like the way the Vapors fit as much ... but i just got some Diadora Attivas, and those are sweet, my favorite of them all.

Also, whoever said Nike doesn't break lied because my brother had custom Zoom ID's and after only a couple of months the whole outsole peeled off mid-game.

Well I have the Air Zooms and yes they're tearing a tiny bit at the bit where ur toes are but all boots do that, the predetors lose the leather and it looks silly. All boots do it mate. The Air Zooms are perfect I think and the mercurials are even better, maybe your brother was unfortunate, maybe nike's online service isnt as good as going to the shop and purchasing it?

I think you should get the mercurials if your going to play outside, but if not, get the air zooms for indoor use. But I hear puma have a good indoor range, maybe you could check them out? Also, I don't see your post about the new Mercurial, im desperate to see them as I think the current Nike Mercurials are the total perfect boot!

Nike air zoom Noventa is great for indoor. It has great cushioning and brilliant ball feel because of the coating thats on them, should be able to find them at soccer.com:)

Well Chelski buddy there are two types of Mercurials obviously the real ones and the less authentic version, which is cheaper. The best is by far the real Nike Mercurials, which their rrp is £140 in britain. They are the best for outside football. There's loads of different colours, my personal favourite is blue, but black is nice, I've seen a special red pair only in the us which is sceduled to be here in the uk in 2004, they're nice, go on ebay and check em out, there's plenty to choose from, or of course nike's website, www.nikefootball.com hope i could help and good luck with whatever boots you decide to buy!

Amdy, the red ones on Ebay are the new Mercurial Vapor 2's, they arent the same ... they are the next generation. And Chelski, the Kangaroo Leather ones are just as good .. assuming you mean the Mercurial Vapor K's .. as far as I know, but I don't know if they are better. I'd get the normal ones in orange though, thats what I have they look hot.

the vapor k's are just all black (like the black/red color except the red is dark grey) and the material is kangaroo leather. not a big deal in looks, but i would get those instead of normal vapors because normal vapors look pretty thin

The Preds look amazing

on another note, be careful with shoes on ebay. a lot of the colorways aren't authentic and painted by third parties. some may be real and are prototypes. but a lot of times, the weird colorways you see aren't realy colorways made by nike, adidas, etc.

i've seen this all the time with jordans on ebay.

yea i've bought on ebay a few times before. you have to set up an account like paypal or bidpay to transfer money to the seller. or you can send straight cash or money orders. most of the time, you can refund items but you'll have to pay again for shipping. but if you buy on ebay, you just have to know your ish and do a little research and make sure you're not getting cheated on.

The F50's are ugly i seen them at the store and they look nasty. And i think you can order them at soccer.com if anyone in the usa is interested in buying them. I would buy it from there cuz you dont have to pay tax and shipping will probably be around $10 so its a good deal
