I use it when it comes to one on one, what about you guys ?

what is keeper charge?

Keeper charge is when u use a button to charge the keeper out of the box to make a tackle or clear the ball.

I only use it for one on one situations. One thing though i found you are less likely to concede a goal if u let the computer control the keeper. When i dont use keeper charge the computer oppostion usually shoots wide.

Keeper charge is more useful in FIFA 2004. the keeper actually goes after the ball when its shot at him. I use it when i play online. Other people get scared because he pops out of no where and they dont have time to shoot.

I use it everytime when an attacker goes into the area. I found that, up to the moment, it clears the ball all the time, no matter you are in one-on-one situation or not, it just look like the attacker lost his mind when the goalkeeper charges. I just press the charge button, the keeper goes out, and I won't think who the attacker is who my keeper is, simply because, he won't score. (Under PRO level at least, I didn't try on World Class though... It just make no mistake.)

its annoying...its the same button for through ball on ps2, so wen i keeper charge just in case my defender doesnt get there in time and he does, the defender automatically plays a 'splitting" through ball out for a corner...
