I just got FIFA 2000 and I must admit that i'm a little dissapointed.
The graphics and sound is excellent (except the commentators) - gameplay is also fine but here is what I feel should be improved:

1. The stats from other games than your own are ridiculous - you can't even see the goalscorers.

2. You should be able to edit player-strengths and heights.

3. The way the computer takes freekicks is not very realistic. (high passes to a player who is only a few meters away)

4. The pitch is too small

5. The season mode is far too limited. I want more stats (take a look at NHL 2000 and compare).

6. The transfer system is a big laugh.

7. It should be easier to feel the difference in the players abilities.

I am not saying that FIFA 2000 is crap - it is in fact an improvement over FIFA 99, but I suspect EA for not improving as much as they could on the game each year. I think that EA know that there's very little competition when we're talking soccer games, and they just want to make sure that they can improve the game a little next year, without working too hard on it.
