The five finalists for the MLS goal of the year have been selected. I can't say I agree 100% with the choices. I would have take Orlando Perez' goal over Spencer's (even though it was a quality goal). I mean come on, it's Orlando Perez. When is he ever gonna have a shot at goal of the year again?

Anyone else notice how four of those five goals were scored vs. Columbus? :o :p

Jeesh! The Crew gave up four of the five nominated goals. That about sums up the season.
Naturally, I'll go with Johnny Spencer's goal, because the Crew didn't give it up. It was top-class and I probably would've picked it anyway.

Cause the poll isn't about the "Fluke Goal of the Year" :p
j/k ;)
nah, seriously it was an incredible goal but I don't think it's the goal of the year
