I'm noticing a repeating problem with my ability to get players to take snap shots, you know like when there has been a goal mouth scramble and the ball just falls at your best strikers feet. It's a nice open goal, but he just stands there refusing to shoot!

The pointers over his head an everything but nothing happens, of course when it's the cpu the shot gets taken straight away!

How do I do these, cos it's really winding me up!

I find just tapping the shoot button (or pass button if your in close) will get it to what you want.

The thing that really bothers me about PES3 is the fouling system. Sometimes i slide and just touch the ball or don't even touch the guy and i get a foul called or a yellow card. Then the other team slides and runs me over and they might get a foul but rarely a yellow...thats the only thing the should work on:)

Happens the other way round. Sometimes I'll foul a player out of anger and end up with no booking(or even foul) others I'll get sent off for not even a touch on the other player.

Timing is critical. Relax and watch the ball(easier said than done :p ), then tap the shoot button when you think the player should lift his leg to take the shot. The game punishes you for pressing the shoot button too early or for too long(same applies for volleys and other first time shots).

Yeah, its the same with headers. Sometimes I get lucky. Most of the time it loops over the bar. Especially when I've been winning a while.
