How did you do?

I got beat 4-1 away to bottom team. I'm playing them in the return leg next week so I'm expecting a win. I hadn't lost in three weeks or so in any game so it came as a bit of a shock. In sixth place now but I could easily go up to fourth if I win next week. I hope I don't lose in footie either or I'll be very angry...odds are stacked against me (Pushed up defence).

Well, R7 & 8 are the big matches of the season, I'm three points clear of The Hurricanes and facing them at home today. A win would put me six points clear of Steve, draw keeping the lead over intact, defeat leaving us equal with a tough away game next.

Went 0-1 down, equalised, and then The Hurricanes took the lead again. Not sure what his players are like but I have an 8 ball shooting attacker, others with 5 and 4, and good defenders with 7 and 5 checking among other good stats... so to be losing at home, he must have quite a team. :p Although it could be my crappy 3 puck keeper costing me the title. :S

So I went from 1-1 to 1-4, pulled it back to 3-4, but despite a few late shots we couldn't get the draw. :( Oh well, lost top spot and will probably lose next week, good luck Steve. :p

You're still on top Chris, your team was killing mine in the last period, my team just managed to hold on. I don't think I've got many major stars, just a good all-round team thanks to my youths. Nice to see the league so close.

A note on the simulator is that it's really a lot better, the whole stamina thing really adds a new dimension. Even if you have a lot of lines full of players, the players with low stamina start to crawl by the half way mark.
