It seems that the game is slow if you play full detail and large database..

It is being suggested that you play medium database and not full detail..

The bugs of the demo have not been fixed..

Will be fixed in the next EP which will come out most likely on official release day..

And anyone who already has the game, care to comment?

I have it. My best mate works in a department store and did me a favor when the shipment arrived (dont worry, i still paid for it).
Anyway i have noticed no difference at all in speed. Im playing Large database, with 11leagues running and its exactly to same as CM4 in that respect.

Can anyone explain to me what small,medium,large database means? Also when you say it "slows down", do you mean during matches, saving/loading, or even when you're just looking at stats and managing your squad?

so ur game isnt slow huh? thats weird.. what specs are you on? I mean, i read at the SI forums, quite a few were complaining about the speed.. and SI themselves have admitted that you'll need a supercomputer to run full database for it to run smoothly..

It could be just me but 03/04 is really HARD. I rented 01/02 and found it to be okay so I got 03/04, and it is addicting... but very tough. I got destroyed by Liverpool and PSV. But I'm trying some different tactics and now I'm barely doing fine, but still paranoid at each match.

Hard? It was waay too easy in all games I've played in da demo.

I dont have a supercomputer, and Cm4 with large database, and the English. german, Italian and spanish leagues sellected, wasnt all thaaaat slow

Im in charge of Leeds of course and have done a great job keeping the club together so far...sitting 10th with a wage budget blowout of around 60k, and thats after selling Viduka to Shalke 04 for 5mil.
It is hard, when you get into a losing run its hard to get out of it. Ive just managed to put in some wins after a 6 game losing streak, losing to Wolves and Leicester along the way...thats with players like far superior. The mental side of the game is much improved.
Im really enjoying the game, the board has realistic aims too. Im around 8mil in the red and they are still satisfied with the situation and delighted with my performance. Its the most enjoyment ive ever got out of a CM game so far in my opinion and thats because its hard.

i think its quite hard and uv got to work ur tactic around ur specific team rather than using someone elses 'super tactic'. iv got a great tactic for my villa team and a m8 of mine has a great tactic too but he tried both tactics with cardiff city and they dont really do much for that team. i agree with oz-leeds-fan about the mental aspect of the game and also its new found enjoyment after the cm4 fiasco.................

Yes i think you people should play the full ver and maybe it's different. Also Real Madrid superteams with an all-star squad is going to be easy even if you use default tactics.

why is it that me and liam seem to refer eveything back to whats already happened! lol. Liam is going on about CM4, and i constantly go on about CM0102. weird no?

Anyway, i hope that CM0304 is harder, but not harder in the fact it would be unfair. lol

I don't think CM is too easy, okay if you start with a good team, it's easy, but playing with a small limited budget team is hard, especailly if you have to lower the wages

yeah i suppose i agree, the gulf between the two seems to have widened though, it seems easier with a big club and harder with a smaller one.

It's hard and fustrating when you finally get that one goal in a tough match, then you hit Tactics to change to a more defensive formation and it says Waiting, then the AI launches a perfect attack and their striker nods in an easy equalizer while my central defenders are just standing there not challenging or jumping, or missing the header completely leaving the striker an easy 1on1 (which, incidently, my RVN has failed 1on1's 80% of the time while the AI scores 80% of the time).

And yes I ALWAYS have individual tactics set up.

We'll have to wait a few more days. Then we'll know for sure. (maybe EP1 improves things just a bit)
