Hi guys...

I've been downloading the wonderful kits that are being produced... theres some very excellent work, especially from Gibby. Keep up the good work.

Anyway, in order to keep track of all the .bin files I've downloaded, i wrote a little utility that tells me which ones I have and haven't got. It doesn't do any editing... it just lists which files are in a chosen folder.

Here's a screenshot...

and here's the program...

It's a 4.6 meg download and I'm not 100% sure it will work(I've never distributed an app before) so I'd appreciate some feedback as to if it does or not.

Should help you keep track of all those kits and make it easy to see which ones you need! Hope it helps.

Great idea Dave, but I get an error message (see screen). I've unzipped all dll's to the kit manager folder, is that right?

Doh, stupid me forgot to add the access database file to setup cab file.

I'll get a new setup file uploaded asap.

OK mate... you can either download the zip file again and resinstall, or you can download the database file which is here:-

Just stick it in the same location as the .exe file.

Oh another thing, you don't need to unzip the files that are in the .cab file. Just run setup.exe and it'll install all the .dll files in the correct location.

OK, it should work now. Same as before, either download the data.mdb or the whole lot again.

ps.. cheers for sticking with it.

Dave
does this only work if the kits have the correct uni??.bin name?

jonah66>> cool. I was using notepad too and it was getting on my nerves so I knocked this up. Glad it's of use to you.

biker_jim_uk>> yeah the .bin files need to have the correct ID. It doesn't look at the file in any way other than it's file name.

Jim, just make a new folder, copy all your updated bin files into it (took me about 10 mins), and point Dave's program to it, and it should work. Now whenever I install a new kit I just copy/paste the bin to the new folder:) .

Can we import kits whit this program or is it only for helping you to remember which kits I have imported.

It was just to help me remember which kits I'd downloaded and imported. Doesn't do anything else I'm afraid :(

It's kinda pointless anyway now that Wolf has posted the .rar file with nearly all the kits.

Not for me Dave. I prefer to use the kits made by the likes of Gobby,Herman etc.

Cool. I think I may keep using Gobby's kits too. I've installed the patch but I'll still keep an eye out for better kits as they appear!

I've done a new version of the .exe

The program now supports both goalkeeper shirts and gloves.
