now that many got pes3 demo? how is it? how do u compare it fifa2004?

sorry for posting this in fifa2004 forum , but i got sick from alll these promoting pes and insulting fifa for months?? so how is the game , really? MUCH better than fifa????

so now no one to defend pes and attack fifa? where r all u guys

or did i post at a time when the konami's spies take a break

I have the full version of PES3 (it's a DVD). I had to go into the office to finish a project and my boss stopped by on his way home from the airport. I'd asked our Japanese consultant to buy it and give it to him to bring back for me - lucky thing I was motivated to go in on a Saturday. (I get my soccer jerseys the same way when the boss travels to Europe.)

Anyway, it's hard to gauge how good PES3 is because there is a severe slowdown bug when there are a lot of players visible. Once you hit midfield the game switches to slo-mo and just chugs along. I've seen others post the same problem in the PES forum. I've downloaded the patch but I didn't notice any difference.

The graphics are just OK - there are some nice details but generally the game looks like a "port". There are many options and I'm still learning the controls in the different practice modes because I've never played it before. It's gonna be awhile before I can really evaluate the gameplay.

I think the bug took a lot of wind out of the sails of the FIFA bashers...but no doubt they'll regain their form soon enough.

is this bug visable whilst playing the demo or has it occured only in the full version? - demo seems ok to me you see...

They got better teeth than FIFA 2004 . . . ( and gameplay of course ).

i would hope to try, but seems PES3 requirement too high. GeForce 2 MMX just unable to support, its freakin slow. and mid range card such as ATI Radeon 9600 pro or GeForce FX 5600 are expensive in malaysia, around RM700. not worth....

It is a terrible port indeed. I had better luck playing my PS games on my comp using Bleem! (all legal of course, I own the games, but sold my PSX). For me, I get perfect speed in the exact midfield circle, but once i leave that circle it slows down, when i finally see the net it goes into slow motion. I tried the Double Speed option and it improved the slow areas, but now the midfield feels like FAST FORWARD.

Awful performance, the gameplay may be a new concept for FIFA fans but it isn't groundbreaking IMO......

nope. The demo ran just fine for me. With almost unnoticable slow down. But the full version has annoying slow down issues when the screen gets crowded!!!!

I still have try out the patch though, but i have to wait untill i can buy the full version in netherlands.

Here's my view. PES3's gameplay is 100% better than FIFA, but this slowdown bug is ruining it. Back to FIFA, although I prefer PES3.
