I'm playing with Juventus in career mode, already bought Totti,Ferdinand and helguera, But I need more Big star players,

so please, give me your favourite starplayers for:

defence: 4 names
midfield: 4 names
attack: 4 names

(The players have to be big stars! not local hero's):crazyboy:
(I don't really need a goalkeeper, since Buffon is a star, and I already bought Howard from Manchester United)

I'm playing my second year with Piacenza and I already won the Italian Cup and got promoted to the serie A.

The two star players that I bought are Roque Santa Cruz (Bayern Munich,he's my top scorer) and O'Shea (from MU)

I can`t see the point of having 22 star players in your team... As only 11 can start I see it as waste of stars!
Plus if you have 2 or 3 or even more players that are fmous for goalscoring then who is going to be your best striker? Example...if you have Henry and VNR upfront who are both capable of scoring 20+ in a season (real life) but in game Henry for example scores 20 in one season and VNR only 10 its a waste of VNR for me... Rather get a good striker then another star striker to assist Henry...
Same goes for midfield.
Not for defense though...

I already know one thing: I'm going to buy Ronaldo and Roberto carlos, not ronaldinho, because if I buy him with juventus, he gets number 10 which is del piero's and that's a total of 3 brazilians... I just want roberto carlos and ronaldo.. any suggestions for MIDFIELD?

I was lucky, I'd sold Conte,Ferrara,and Di Vaio , or else, I couldn't have offered real madrid 40.5 million..
I had him onetime, at 35 million, but then I couldn't sell the right players from my team so I restarted ...

Now my starting 11 Juventus fc, looks like this:

Gerrard, Kewell & Murphy (all from liverpool...I'm a fan) are all very good midfielders in this game depending on what type of player you are looking for. I think that Gerrard is the best overall (of the three) if you are looking for a solid midfielder who can shoot and pass very well. Kewell has a good shot and is very fast. I use him mostly to fly down the wings, and cross the ball into the middle (for Owen :) ). Murphy is a great passer and is good at taking the non-shooting set pieces (unfortunately this means he also takes the shooting ones which I haven't found him to be very good at).

IGG - Who the **** are scotland? i didnt see any "bravehearts" in amsterdaam thats for sure!! holland litteraly took the pissed out of scotland! If christian daily played things would have been different!!

What are you looking for in a player to replace Tacchinardi? Depends on the style of play that you have on what I'd suggest. For example - do you play down the wings? Use total posession? Are you looking for someone to play a long ball, who can make the simple passes, or can shoot? Someone who can hold down the fort as a strong defender? It depends... For an all-around mid, I'd use Beckham. He seems to be able to do most things pretty damn good in this game (not even close to real life, though - he's overrated in this game at a 94).

I can give you another tip. Sell Tudor and buy a new defender. My pick would be Nesta or Mexes (Auxerre, yet to be a major star). You can never have too much good defenders ;)
I think Tudor isn`t himself anymore he is constantly injured and he has a bad temper.

I forgot to say that I'm going to try to get Nesta!
But at the moment I only have 1.7 million..... Because I bought roberto carlos, and ofcourse the biggest issue: RONALDO.

Hoping to sell the right players in januari, so that I have enough money to buy nesta.... or else next summer.. :)

ROBERTO CARLOS is the best freekick taker and defender in the game runs like lightening but wrong stats but good really super

Ronaldo is also veryvery good got 98 the highest

Davids also got pretty high stats its 96

in terms of ratings, not ure opinion (i dont know if there is still an overall rating) also if there are players on joint ratings for the positions, could you include them, even if it goes over the limit of the numbers i have specified.

it may seem lazy but i dont yet have the game and would like to know.

if not, can someone tell me how to get a listy of the players in terms of ratings - thanks!

in what club is pimenov?

He is a Lokomotiv Moscow striker, as you may notice, they are not included in the game, he is down as a substitute for the Russian national team. You must use EA Creation Centre to get him.

that sux, cuz i got the gamecube fifa

yeh it does kinda suck, but ure probably better off with shevchenko. Although pimenov has the best overall rating, shevchenko has a much better shot, it as good as van Nistelrooys, so its not all bad. I sometimes play Shevchenko upfront and drop pimenov to the wing, because he is fast with good control.

Also Brighi is not so great despite his 97 rating, he doesnt fit my style of play becuase he is not so good at carrying the ball over distances or shooting.
