How come many of the kits I d/l have the collars messed up ?
I mean, loads of kits I get from http://www.proevolutionline.com/ and pro revolution as .bin files end up with the collars messed up !?
Is it something I'm doing importing the kit or is it the kit makers ?

You need an editor to change the kits from 'have collar' to 'no collar' - or vice versa.
use editor from here (http://waterloo12345.50megs.com/archives/WE7_set_default_color%202.1.0.rar)
and .exe from here (http://www.gamecopyworld.dk/games/pc_pro_evolution_soccer_3.shtml) (v1.0)
that .exe will only work if you haven't patched your game. Make sure you backup your original pes3.exe just in case.

Also, I presume that most of the kits I d/'ed as .bin files (including yours) have already been edited to have collar set on/off so all I need is the exe ?

no, if you use the bin on a model it uses the collar from th model, that's why you need to change the collar using the editor!!!

OK, almost there but where do I get this SLPM_623.56 file from ?
The usage instructions for WE7_set_default_color.exe say...
1. Input/Browse File Name with full path for SLPM_623.56, and press <Retrieve File> to load data.
Is the file in data_e.afs ?

If you had read the line above you would have seen:
"Steps (for PS2 WE7):"
We are editing PES3(PC) here, so change to that option in the 'version' rollout at the bottom of the editor. Then you will be able to retrieve data from pes3.exe.
