I've just bought it..i've just being playing it...ITS FANTASTIC...ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC...and the fact i can play my matches in FIFA 2004 is what i've been waiting for

FIFFA 2k4 always had week off screen options etc, but it was still miles ahead of PES and others who didnt even have real names and club teams, but now...i can forget about the crappy Carer mode (which is an excelletnt improvement on the FIFA2k3 multiplayer season mode but still WELL SHORT of reality football)

and use TCM 2004 as my off-match screen to toggle and get immersed then play my games using FIFA 2k4 Amazing...btw i said almost ULTIMATE..b/c FIFA2004 isn't quite there yet..when you can curve the ball as in 2k2 i'd say its much closer.

I heard the Dutch national team is censored due to the idiocy of the Dutch FA. To be honest, that is the biggest crap I've ever heard of. The players are all named generic. In the rest of the game, the Dutch players are normally available, because their rights are with FIFPro. This means Dutch players will never get to play international matches. (And no tiredness from international competitions... :S)

i mentioned this in another post...but i've copied and pasted it here for convenience...this were my first impressions of the game:

iF TCM 2004 is the game your playin...then it sets the graphics, stadium players etc that FIFA2004 uses, u can't change anything like u would in normal FIFA2004 games

Adv = advantage
dadv = disadvantage

dadv. The first match you do the fusion with will take ages to load,but the 2nd and consequent matches r quicker by far.

adv. The tactics that you set up in TCM 2004 are the ones that are employed by the AI in the Fusion match...

dadv. LIke in normal TCM2004 games...u can only change team strategy tactics at half time only where the game goes back to TCM 2004

adv. All the player faces etc are as in FIFA2k4, and even the stadiums are labelled corretly etc as they are in TCM 2004...haven't yet played at a big stadium to see if its used..but i suspect it is.

dadv. I dont seem to be able to increase the detail level for fusion games...and my sound cuts out this mayb an easy enough to fix problem though..i'll fiddle around with files and check if i have to make the adjustment in FIFA 2004 rather than TCM 2004 whose graphic and osund options are rather limited.

dadv. this may change as wel...but i found only one of my controllers present...unofrtunately it auto-detected my sidewinder original instead of my logitech Wingman or THrustmaster, and i can't choose between the two...again this maybe I think i can change in FIFA2004 itself or play around in the EASports folders

Alll my disadvantages I think are local problems a little tweaking should solve...its awesome though...because u can play the games as in FIFA...pretty cool huh...i'll keep u posted if i find any more inconsistencies or if i fix any of the problems mentioned

It is a first run so there will be bugs. Personally I play in text mode as it is more challenging, as playing the matches means you can win every match.

BTW, PES3 is not miles behind Fifa as it does not have real club and player names. I think you'll find that FIFA is miles behind PES3 in terms of gameplay. ;)

I dont see anything nice about it, so basically if you put the worst tactics on TCM and you are a FIFA expert.. you can win all matches.. whats the fun of it?

Not having completely accurate team and player names doesn't make a game inferior to another. And is it stands I aint used football fusion at all yet, I do text mode and will probably end up continuing to play TCM long after I stop playing FIFA.

If only Konami could do something like this, such as "Pro Evolution Manager" which allowed an equivalent idea such as Football Fusion.

Another very good TCM, so well done EA Sports :)

football fusion is freaking hard, while playing in the game, i loose the ball all the time and the other teams players seem to be cheating like mad, ie persistant fouling, no offsides for the pc they get away with it. but if i try it uts either red or yellow.

i think iv had like 3 injuries per game. my players run bloody slow.

another thing is this, my own team mates (cpu) seam to auto tackle all the time.

YOu see thats because TCM sets the tactics of the AI in the fusion game...hehe..cunning huh..so its generally much harder...but...

I also believed that PES3 had an advantage on Fifa 2004 ( I own both games) but with TCM2004 on your drive the WETDREAM of all soccer fans er about to come true! You can play TCM entirely as you want it. Perhaps you just want to do most of the soccer? Than you do bother to mutch about the tasks that comes with a soccer manager game, and just play every game with the fusion option (Ohh yeah I LOVE that one). Personal I think that playing the game with ALL options ON, is the most of fun. It brings dept to the soccer game that I ever dreamd for.

Congretulations to EA for this very succesfull game!!!:rockman: :wootman:

I still dont understand why are EA Sports relating a very good game (TCM) with a mess (FIFA).. Maybe if FIFA was something special.. football fusion would have been more fun..

I wonder, did TCM 2004 obtain the JFA license? they have been missing japan ever since 2003. That turned me off. Also, what about the other Asian teams? I would like to try getting them to the world cup, which would by a worthy challenge, I think. They should at least do it like Fifa 2002, where the names and kits were generic, you know? So can someone please tell me if all the asian teams are included in TCM 2004? If not, is Japan in it at least?
