My TCM game is crashing to my desktop on a regular basis, usually just after I have given the half-time speech.

Any ideas of what to do?

I've got a very good spec :

Windows XP
1 GB Ram
3.19 GHZ
and a very good graphics card

Try the usual, i.e. download DirectX 9.1, download all the drivers and download the update patch from www.totalclubmanager.com

The game is working fookin' sweet on my dual 2.5ghz processor (H)

Have u edited the game alot, cos i got with TCm2003 that if i edited it too much, it'd crash to desktop

I've done all that and still the same problem :(

oh and DirectX 9.1 isn't out yet, as far as I'm aware

Editing doesn't really make that much of a difference. In TCM03 I edited a lot of teams (and players ;) ) and it had no performance change. I even made a CIV XI (our school team) in the French league and a TAHS XI (my old school team) into England and there was no change. Hell, even adding a reserve league made no difference!

On TCM2004 I have edited certain players (e.g. Sinama-Pongolle, Le Tallec, Aliadière & other players full talent) and I have no performance change.
