All this talk about the perfect game, well as much as i hate to admit Microsofts Latest which is now UEFA Striker on DC lets compare
BALL PHYSICS :- No contest the ball rebounds better and more inmortantly unpredictably giving more scrambles, the ball is not stuck to the pitch like its on rails and this leads to better passing lets face it its hard to see the ball in fifa!!!
GOALS:-because of the unpredictablily you score different goals and headers actually go over the bar and wide like the would do the reaction of the players atmosphere and the ripple on the net is better EAs effort is better this year but still pathetic really the ball rebounds in net at force something EA have ommitted
SPEED:- Microsofts is spot on its not pinball but you have 10 settings to speed it up his leads to more realistic passing and a chance to way up situations better EA are just satisfying Gamers not Football fans
AI :- Well well well here agin EA fail goalies that smother every long shot but are hopeless in some situations they dive unrealistically and never parry the ball for a corner or out for a goal mouth scramble Microsofts game is spot on the parries the saves they dont come out much and he sequal with sort that out but at least its only there second attempt how many chances are we going to give EA I would appreciate any comments!!!

If they only had real teams and real players I'd buy Microsoft International soccer.

I agree with regard to the speed. FIFA 2000 plays like a pingpong on WC and Pro settings, since the AI's players all are able to run like they're being chased by the devil. This is the single most disappointing feature of the game, since it means that you can't win games by any other tactic than mad button tapping, reflex passes, and direct shots/headers. More fingers get numb after 30 minutes of play!
