I heard that the idea was good, but that what they put on screen was flat.

example (and not so spoiler so dont worry) is when the the french guy tells on tv thats gonna pay to whomever gets him out.
obviosly, as its oin the middle of LA, that all the gangs there would try to get him out, but noooo, just 1 gang tries to get him out.

Im having seen it, so I cant judge it, but I heard, with more examples like that one, that its not that good:(

i thought the bit where he says that live on TV is a bit unrealistic, since it shows it been shown all over the world.

nah with that tv thing...a lot of the tv dudes were american...

i enjoyed it, like its not the best film but it isnt too bad either...i was disappointed that we didnt see more from that sniper...

The movie is an okay one.

I suggest anyone to rent it rather than watching it in a theatre. Rumor telling that there'll be a next sequel for the movie.

Well it's not an Oscar contender, never will, never intended to be. I haven't seen it yet but from what I gather it's a good film if you want some good action and entertainment and there's nothing wrong with films like that.

it's a good movie....well, i went to theather to see it after 2-3 months sitting home wathcing dvd's :p
but actually, the movie is a waste, no interesting main point in the movie....:(

Watched it last night. its gonna be added to my DVD collection when it comes out but it could have been better.

it was a bit to film arty in places

btw, is it just showing in US? i saw it in theather 2-3 months before...i thought the showing here is more late than US :rolleyes:

Me and my mates went to the cinemas a few weeks back, we split into two groups, some of them went to see it but didn't say much about it so I am thinking its just another one of those movies... Some other people and I seen the Texas Chainsaw Massacare instead... argg :confused: That is freaky... I hate his face at the end of it.... :p

Probably because we seen a scarey movie we wouldn't shut up about it so they didn't really get to say much about SWAT, but one of them said yeah it was good a few others said it was alright... hmmm :confused:

i didnt like SWAT a lot there are many of that type much better, the best ive seen this last month is 21grams

I enjoyed it alot there wasnt really any thing really stupid like in other action flicks by that i mean no stunts that would be impossible in real life

twas okay...shouldve had more 'meat' but i thought the pace was decent although the end was more than a tad predictable.

I haven't seen it yet but my cousins told that they filmed parts of the movie near their neighborhood (they live in LA). There is usually a drive-by or gunfight right outside their house every night or so. I'll check it out to see if it's any good.

IN the paper they absolutely killed it, saying it was the usual action like rubbish
