i've been playing PES3 on the ps2 for something like 2 monthes now and finally my ML is going well.i play only 5 stars ,which is kinda hard but i like the challange (:
in my first season i gained the promotion after a very dramatic match in the last game of the season which was against the team who ranked third.i had to win in order to promise the promotion and i had the lead until the 86 minute in which they tied the game,but luckily the team on the second place lost and i took the championship,after that the playoff was not a big deal..
in the pre-season i bought my first player, a polish CF named wichniarek,who seemed like a very good deal in terms of money per preformece(look him up in the search).now the second season strarted,and my first game was against Man u:p i was possitive that i will get something like 5-0 but i had one of my best games to date and i won 1-0!! the scorer was BTW barota who is also the top scorer of the last season and the reason for my dillema.the second game was also quite amazing and i managed to beat chelse 1-0 when the scorer was once again borata.i only played two game after that,1-1 against everton and 1-0 against westham(wichniarek with a great goal) in the cup.now to the dillema.i have about 13k transfer points and was thinking of buying Martins who has gr8 stats ,the problem is that if i will buy him it means that i will put barota on the bench and i really dont know if thats a good idea..
so what do u think ? (:

You will eventually have to replace the default players.

Castolo has been my best "stock" player so far.

i got martins on my inter team (second season div 1, 5 stars)...

don't expect too much of him. especially when you think about how the real martins is playing at the moment. you'll be rather bummed out...

why not stick with barota as long as he is still scoring? save the money, collect, and get shevchenko or owen instead (or di vaio, who is excellent).

Or you could get yourself a growth player and turn him into a legend. I love my Piliniak. :mrpimp:

now about that growth player ,i wanted to ask you jig when did you pull out your player from the youth team,after which season ?

Third season IIRC. It took me five seasons to escape the hell of division two. :( I'm in my second season in division one now and I'm training up another growth player called Petipa. He could possibly become even better than Piliniak considering there's more games played in D1 so he'll probably get more points to train up.

jeez i gotta tell ya division 1 is hard..
my polish foreword got injured and now i`m playing with the "stock" players who are very week and i have 5 wins 3 ties and 5 losses,ranked 7(3 point from the 4th place) arr i cant wait for the negotiation period..

I think it's only growth players. And as for ML.... my 4th year, i just won the division 1 cup, the d1 tourney, and in the wefa championships i lost in the final in extra time to borussia dortmund 1-0 :f***:

I am currently in my 11th season of ML football with Manchester Utd on 5 stars.. in the last three seasons I managed to win the treble 3 times..
I won the first game 2-0 against newcastle.. I lost to Lazio 1-0 in the WEFA championship, followed by a 1-0 win over arsenal with a fantastic giggs freekick in the last 3 minutes.. :rockman:
Then I beat Fulham 4-1 only to realise that its 4 am and I got school coming in 3 hours :D :$
