I've had it. After losing a game to a team with NO BUYABLE PLAYERS, using SCP I'm quitting CM, i've had it. It shouldn't be possible for such stupid things to happen. Granted I'm not a great manager but against a team with NO ACTUAL BUYABLE PLAYERS? :kader: This game has been frustrating me since CM4... LONG LIVE CM 01-02!

Maybe u should just try to improve, maybe u r just not good enough for this game :p

I hate the 'grey' players. When Madrid get 'grey' players, they are superstars, ie. finishing 20.:kader:

It's just stupid when a club with no real players can whoop you 2-0, even though you've had 100 more chances than the bums.

Anyways I redid the game and won 2-1... I'll stick with CM, but I also want Sporting's budget to represent real life since we have 20 million to spend meaning we have MUCH more than just 10 M in the bank. Lazy researchers...:kader:

Also if you select a league as active then there will be no grey players.

Hey these things happen in real life. You see professional teams losing to non-league opposition every year in England, Its called the FA cup. :confused:

Don't give up anyway. The game is frustrating at times, but thats what makes me want to play it, I get so wound up in it

True, in unselected leagues, and non-league. But you'll hardly ever play those teams (national and continental cups).

But then agains you could be missing out on some of the most promising talent of the game. I can't wait till I get home from Uni to play CM03-04 on a proper PC

Grey players are annoying granted, but its hardly something to stop playing the game for. Me thinks theres another reason......

I'm now playing with medium database. Cm4 was supposed to be slower, but actualy CM03/04 with large database is MUCH slower. So I canged back to medium database for the first time since Cm01/02 (but I had 8 leagues selected back then)

CM0304 is about the same speed for me as CM4, but im playing it on medium not small, so its actually faster for me.

It's fast for me with med database. Very fast actualy. Just too slow with Large database and I dont see the reason why... Not many things changed from CM4

if i had mine on Small it would be VERY quick.
