Another win for Greece!They won 1-0 over Ireland,the scorer was Lakis.It was a hard battle,with the Greeks pressuring in the first half and got the early goal.Then the Irish attacking like crazy giving the Greek defense some problems,but the Greeks managed to contain them.

The Irish had some injuries,and the Greeks had 7 regulars out.All in all a sloppy game but a good win non the less for Greece in Dublin on the road.Greece has 3 wins in 2000 now beating Austria 4-1,Romania 2-0,and Ireland 1-0.Good playing by the boys,I see them improving tremendously with new coach V.Danil!

What u guys are saying is true but,I really like what V.Danil is doing.He is teaching unity and the players look very comfortable.I mean the way we played against Romania really impressed me.I mean they had Hagi,Petrescu,Filipescu,Mutu,Stelea,Munteanu and we held them to 2 shots!We utterly out played them and they were shocked!I saw so much improvement with that game.

And remember we have alot of new edeitions like Choutos,Karagounis that will really make us better!I see a good future for us.Maybe we can even qualify for WC 2002!

We have the Talent,now we just have to show it! ZHTO ELLAS!
