I've downloaded the Patch 1.1 but not sure how to it. Can anyone advise??

This is just in case FileFront doesn't work for you (doesn't work for me because my browser blocks its pop-up ads and it's too difficult and irritating to disable that feature).

To use the patch, just run the file and after it's done your browser will pop up a window. The thing that appears in the centre of that window is a button. Push it (click on it) to activate the finalising of the patch. If you get an ActiveX warning, just click Yes and let it proceed.
