I juz bought fifa 2000 and Im having problems to even getting it started.

I was sure I installed it proper. but when ever I start the game, the screen turns black like its initializing and then goes back to desktop again...

I tried installing at a friends house and its perfectly alright.

Im having a creative riva tnt 2 ultra card with latest drivers (Tried with nvidia driver too)... DirectX 7(tried with 6.1)

So do any one have any idea???

what is the error message that you get?
is it "device error" ?

Have you gone to 3D setup? Thats all I can think that you have done wrong. If not, its in the FIFA 2000 directory.

I also have the same problem too...

and there is even no error message display when the screen becomes black...

Can anyone know what the problem is??

(I don't think it is the problem of 3D setup since I have changed it serveral times, it still did not work.)

belive me - i tryed it all!!!
i even took the game to my girlfriends computer and we get the same error, so it is probably BUG of the game and not the hardware problem. it is the warez version and there is probably some files missing or something like that - try to take another version of this game from someone.
