I just bought the friggin' game and never had a chance to try it out. It crashes when I press "Start new game". I have never ever been in the game from my computer, but it works fine on my friends computer.
Either it crashes to desktop, or just freezes!
I have updated my drivers, I have the newest DirectX 9.0B!
I have a ATI Radeon 9200 and I've got Catalyst 3.9, and have also tried 3.7, still no luck.
What the hell am I doing wrong here???

Have you installed Patch 1.1? If you have, then try to reinstall both original and patch.

I wish I could help you more but I cannot really figure out what the problem is.
I had a similar problem whenever I pressed Quit Game button. The credits screen would appear but if I clicked the mouse or press any key to finish it the screen froze.
Since I 'm using ATI Radeon 7500, I installed driver 3.9 and problem solved. You said that you 've tried that but with 9200.
I don't know. It seems to be a card problem but I cannot be sure.
You 'd better run the EA environment capturing utility and send it to EA along with a problem description.

hehe, also tried that :) But EA Denmark said that I should try to install my VIA chipset 4-in-1, so I'm gonna try that and report back to you guys if it works!
