I DON`T KNOW ABOUT YOU GUYS BUT IN MY FAPLFM2000 MOST OF THE PENALTYS END IN A FREEKICK TO THE OPPOSITION AFTER A GOAL IS SCORED,AND ALSO WHEN A ATTACKER IS ABOUT 1CM FROM THE GOAL HE PASSES THE BALL BACK.WHY CANīT I PLAY IN 3DFX MODE EVEN THOW IN THE 3D SETUP I CAN CHOOSE MY VOODOO3 CARD,BUT WHEN IN THE GAME SETTINGS IT SAYS 3DDEVICE=D3D NOT 3DFX OR SOMETHING.AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST EVERYTIME I CHOOSE WIDE VEWING THE GAME CRASHES TO MY DESKTOP.ANY HELP TO THESE PROBLEMS? I HAVE A AMD K-6 266.OH FORGOT TO SAY I CAN PLAY FAPLSTARS2000 IN 3DFX.

I agree about some strange free kicks being awarded to the opposition. The players are really stupid in some situations (plaing the ball back, when they are one on one with the keeper, or about 1 cm from the goal as you mentioned.)
WE WANT A PATCH FOR THAT!!!
About the graphics:
I also have a voodoo3 and the game does run in D3D. That doesn,t mean that it doesn't use your V3 card, it just runs in D3D.
The graphics are fine, but it would be nice with support for resolutions above 640*480.
Otherwise i love this game.
Excellent feature that the computer records all games in all leagues, so that you can actually watch the goals from the other games. You can even watch the whole match if you like. Brilliant!!! I've had crashes with this game too, but not in the same situation as you... Seems it just crashes at different places once in a while..
COME ON EA - DO A PATCH FOR THIS GAME!!!

I THINK IT IS STRANGE ABOUT D3D.I HAVE FA PREMIER LEAGUE STARS 2000,WHICH IS THE SAME GAME ENGINE AND THE GRAFICS LOOK 1000.000 TIMES BETTER AND RUNS SMOOTHER.

I contacted EA about higher rez for the 3D game and they said that it doesn't run above 640x480. A pity...

I also agree about how the players react etc, the goalie bug and occaisonal crashes (for me it helped to switch off any power management). EA know about this - everyone should contact them and hopefully a patch will come...
