I think that this is mt first post in the PES3 forum, i often edit for fifa, but pes deserves a great edition too.

First of all, anounce the PES3 Faces Pack, is ready for download in socceraccess. It contains 10 faces, including great players and how to use the edition game program to make them (values). Im preparing new players with new textures, as Beckham, Overmars, and other players...but this is for a near future.

Announce too that the Barcelona Home Kit and the Camp Nou Stadium (totally retextured and with other features) will be ready for download very soon.

OMG that Kluivert face is AWESOME!! Did you import any face or just tuned it from the editor different face parts?


The kit is a bit shiny, tho. I think there's a flawless Barça kit on one Editor's site.... don't remember the addy now, I'll post it later..

I don't see any difference in those faces to the original faces in pes3 :confused: (I'm going by Kluivert, Beckham and Kahn which are the faces i recognise as being the same as in my game)
The barcelona kit has a lot of mistakes but I'm guessing thats not finished yet?

I dont think so. Trust me, Kluivert face is almost perfect. Marquez appears as a dark coloured skin player with short hair by defaul. Luis Garcia has no changes tho (at least from my perspective).

About the faces pack, are the values more near to achieve the more reslistic similitude to the real player. Kluivert default face is not this, is other, with Kahn happend the same. The other players are totally edited. But nevermind about Becks.....for this Christmas, socceraccess will realese this awesome face, (and more new faces, sure) with a new face texture, Merry Beckhams ;)

Of course,Kluivert,Kahn,De Boer have wrong default(!!) faces,but the other faces are already in the game integrated!

As you can there,Kahn has for example Skincolour 1 and Face-Nr.23 and you will see it's totally similar to Neovico's faces.

Again, ahemm, let´s see.

This pack of faces has not a .BIN file that contains new textures and this stuff. The pack contains some faces made totally with the editor, like Luis García, Abelardo, Burgos, etc. Other like Kluivert or Kanh are not putted in the teams by default, for this reason i put a file explaining how to obtain this faces that are really in game, adding more realism with the hair, size, etc, values.....

Kluivert, Valdes, Becks and Kanh are in the game, i modified some values only for a best result.

Marquez, Luis García, Ayala, Burgos, Abelardo and Stoichov are made totally from zero with the creation program.

Anyway, i did Becks with a new texture (see the pic) , and i think that i will do the same with most of players on this game.

I believe you are all being a bit harsh with Neo..
He's done a terrific job with the faces. The fact that just Beckham's face has a new texture is because I asked him for it, but the other faces are very nice too! I mean.... like Kluivert... is way better than the original one.

They're all fine, but Burgos definitely doesn't look like thatm and Reiziger doesn't look like that either :confused:

Geez!! Casillas face is unbeliveable amazing!

The best (most accurate) faces in game IMO are:
Maldini, Del Piero, David Seaman, Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho (someone updated it) and now this, fantastic face of Iker Casillas

perhaps someone think another and I didn't compare all of faces in game to original so maybe there are much good made faces, but these above are even better than these in fifa 2k4

Huh? How can you waste CDs if this isn't a patch, it's just a text file that tells you how to make those faces in the Edit mode of the game? :confused:

Well, in theory all the works, except the Faces Pack 1 (that is simply a text document), are for pc, i didnt try the .bin files in a ps2. I dont know if this files can be recorded and played on a ps2, cause my work is more focused in pc (in all the games), but if the .bin files works for console i promisse that when i have a few stadiums and a lot of faces made i will make a patch, for to record on a cd ;)

Hi Neo why do you make a Bergkamp face while he has a 100% correct face in the game already. Its somewhere around face nr 134 (there are the dutch faces)

Hmmm,,,yes, you got reason, i realized that Bergkamp face is really 135 and not 158 as in the game as default...i worked over the 158 face (who is??) and not over 135....oupssss...Anyway, here´s another version of the face based on 158, and i will try with the 135 face, cause both faces are not so acurate as i want, is a bit exagerated.

lol okay its the first and final post for me in this forum..bye ...bye...

Well, coninuing with the PES3 faces...the final version (this time with the correct shape of Bergkamp. I added some details to make it more acurate and no so exagerated as the dafault one.

I tried another technique with "faces parts"..you know..the faces that have not assigned a specific face, you must to create some face as more accurate possible to the real face with diferent mouths, noses, eyes, etc on the editor.... This is finished, now you can edit the parts separatly, achiving awesome results. As this new face Carles Puyol totally retextured.

This last 3 faces, Nedved, Bergkamp and Puyol will be ready for download in the next days at www.socceraccess.com

By request of Tim, i made the Rafael Van der Vaart face. This is the first aproach, far of definitive version, is a difficult face, cause except the eyes, there´s not other facial thing, as barbe, moustache, big ears or something like this to recognize him.... it is made using the same technique that with the Puyol face. Comment please.

You can make a request of any face if you want. ;)

davidian is a not the releaser of the faces, he talking about 5 weeks to coming out the new faces, and he post many many picture in another board, but i can´t understand why the guy not relaser the finished faces, he talking and talking and talking and nothing appears, can´t understand it, maybe he want kidding us, the ignore pm´s and personal questions to him, anyone know what happens with this guy?

No sorries Pipeño, if you think this is ok, the critics must to be good and bad always to know what is ok and what no.... keep in mind that each person see of a diferent way each player. With Bergkamp i did another diferent version, i dont like the default version, anyway i made little changes only.
Yeah, i think that Puyol´s face is great too.
With Van der Vaart, i must to work more on this face, i said it.

Well, there are 2 diferent methods to texture. When a player has an specific face, like Nedved, is easy, you must to take the entire texture and edit it. In this last faces (Puyol, Van der Vaart) they have not specific faces, there´s not a Puyol entire face texture, then in the editor i made a Puyol face, much possible resemblance, then i edit the parts separatly, the eyes, nose, and mouth, that depends what kind of them has diferent numbers (ex: eyes A,B,C,D.....are 00,01,02,03...). After edit the parts separtly, you go to the edit center in the same game, and Puyol appears with the new textures as a one face.

Is other way to obtain textured faces for those players that has not an specific face, is more difficult, but almost you can have a player with more resemblance.

Yes Tim, may be is this....but i think that the thing that gives a lot of personality to Rafael are his eyes. We will see in next update. Anyway, keep in mind that is only a texture, it will be great if it will be possible to edit the mesh too, for a perfect face....
