I am struggling here.

My gamepad is one which is not "officially" supported by FIFA (its a Saitek P3000). Now I can configure it a bit to work how I want it but I cannot for whatever reason get free kicks to work properly.

According to the manual you use the cursor keys PLUS the shift key to affect where you will hit the ball (to influence swerve etc. etc.). For some reason however nothing happens when I press the keys - it doesnt move or anything!

Whilst I can hit the free kicks and hit them accurately they are a bit naff really if i cant swerve them!

Is this something to do with my gamepad do you think?

Hold down one of the analouge stick (hold it down and press left/right for curve)

i have a p2500 , ithink its the right stick to curve FKs. Can u do skill movs in play? (ie step overs?) - its the same button

Ill give that a try - i think it must be the right one cos the left one brings up the start menu!

The thing is, i cant configure my controller! DOH!

I think i did a few skill moves once - THINK i did that with my right analogue now you mention it - ill try it at the weekend!
