It came in the post today so I thought I'd have a few games on 3* to see if I'm as good as I am on PES2.

Great to see it's a completely different game. You can't do the glory runs unless you're with someone like Michael Owen and I love the way players will move off the ball.

Heskey's back to being a tart! Huraaah! You seem to get a lot less time and space on the ball and you really have to pass the ball loads and wait for your chances.

There are some lovely touches in this, too. The ref mysteriously sliding on to the pitch to lecture the players is class and defending's a real challenge. I've gave away some easy penalties from moments of bad timing.

Teams seem to react completely different to goals, too. An early goal can really knack them up but if they're 1-0 down they'll try and push for a leveller.

Shame the South American sides have been left out of the Master League but at least you can edit them in.
