no wonder there no "active" ManU players...
game is set to be December 15th. When the EPL Xmas season is well under way. But Chelsea seemed to have managed to free some ... well they have too many players anyway.

anyway taht's a lot of players there !!

Thats probably because Man U have no friendly, sociable players. Its a squad full of uptight, arrogant, moody, up themselves prima donnas - just like their manager. The only recent Man U player who'd be considered for such a charitable occasion is Beckham. And we all know where he is now.
Who would they invite? Keane? RVN? Giggs? The Neville brothers? They're all a bunch of miserable gits.
Sorry, but i really dont think Man U have any particuarly popular or sociable players. Also, the fact that barely any Man U players have played outside England or for any other club adds to their unpopularity.

yeah i think these matches would be ****e after all they wouldnt be going in hard for the ball, they would be laughing the whole time and it wouldnt have any competitiveness about it. They should have really a match with like the best of the North of England against the best of the South of England now that would be class

Kindly provide another explanation for the exclusion of any Man U players. And you cant deny that because you have barely any players who've played in Europe, has an affect.

Keane cant play as many games as he is used to, Cris Ronaldo wont get to play as many games because he is going to be rested, the match is just two days after the derby, i can provide many other reasons, but it is not my business to do so, and if you think man u players arent charitable, look at van nistelrooy who played in the Figo-all stars v unicef,

bbranco10, who is gonna play for who? :p

Anyone watching this? It's on BBC3 right now, and it's 2-1 to Ronaldo:
Zidanes Team - Zidane 8"
Ronaldo's Team - Robinho 24", Diego 25"

What a match this is turning out to be! The only player from the English league is Edwin Van Der Saar. You mentioned a lot of players that aren't actually playing.

Best players so far:
Zidane -> Zidane, Beckham, Eto'o, Suker, Djalminha
Ronaldo -> Ronaldo, Diego, Robinho, Carlos, Nakata

max of the players that vince mentioned were not there.
the teams were very different with mostly brazilians and greats like suker, mijatovic, etc.
was fun to watch all the trickery of robinho ,diego, zidane, etc.

i watched it on ten sports here in india and the commentator mentioned that it was to be broadcast in 36 countries
